Measles cases are on
\nthe rise in the U.S. While there are no cases in Wisconsin, several of our
\nneighboring states do have cases.\u00a0We care about your student's
\nhealth and want you to have the important information below.<\/u><\/i><\/b>\u00a0Please
\nshare with your staff and parents.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What is measles?<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Measles is a respiratory (lung) illness that caused by a virus.
\nIt spreads through the air when someone who is sick with the virus coughs or
\nsneezes.\u00a0Early symptoms may include cough, runny nose, high fevers, pink
\neye, and a red rash with raised bumps that begins at the hairline and moves
\ndown the body. Later symptoms my include pneumonia and swelling of the brain
\nthat can rarely lead to death.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What if my child has measles symptoms?<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Call your doctor right
\naway. Keep your child at home until you are able to talk with your doctor. When
\nyour child is sick and they still go to school or sports, the virus can spread
\nto other students.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s falcon summer camp will focus on developing offensive and
\ndefensive skills by providing instruction, drills, and competition designed for
\nindividual improvement. Stop in the ES for more information and sign-up!<\/span><\/p>\n
