*HIGH SCHOOL*

*April 12, 2018*

*Prom tickets* will be sold during both lunches. The cost is $25.00 per
ticket and includes one complimentary photo.

*Connections Mentor Applications* are due in the counseling office by Monday,
April 16. This is the ideal opportunity to work with others, give back to
your school, and develop leadership qualities. Applications are in the
counseling office.

*Close Up Club students* going to Madison this Friday, meet in the gym
lobby by 7:40. We will be returning to school at approx. 3:00. You will
need money for lunch. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress
appropriately. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Hackbarth or Mrs.
Flagstad.

*The Java Roost* would like to update you on what is going on with the shop
both inside and out. We have implemented new things this year such as a
bi-weekly estimation jar for a chance to win a free drink along with the
contents of the jar. We have started to sell different quick breads made by
Gio L. The breads we have right now are Red Devils Chocolate bread, Banana
and pumpkin, and our newest bread is the Buttermilk Cinnamon Swirl! We also
have many drinks from hot and cold so stop by and give them a try. If
anyone is interested in working in the Java Roost next year please reach
out to Ryanna K or stop on down. We are open before school, 1st and 2nd
hour, Friday enhancements, and after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

*Robotics students* reminder: tonight, Thursday, April 12th from 6:00 pm
to 7:30 pm is our mandatory wrap up meeting. Please be in attendance! Any
question please see Mr. Hughes

*If you are bringing a guest to prom*, please pick up your completed guest
passes today in the high school office. Your guest will need to bring the
approved pass and a picture ID.

*Are you considering a career as an educator? *Maybe you’re interested in
the field of horticulture or working in a garden setting? Would you enjoy
being part of a dynamic outdoor education experience? If so, Bookworm
Gardens has a wonderful summer internship opportunity for YOU through our
Youth Ambassadors Program. Check out the details on the job board or stop
in the counseling office.

*Community Service Senior Members*- Please schedule a meeting with Ms.
Jarosch to go over your cumulative hours by April 18. Bring copies of your
total hours.

*April 8th-14th is National Library Week!*

This is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and
to promote library use and support.

*Job Fair -* *Juniors and Seniors:* Are you looking for summer or full time
work? This is your opportunity. There is a job fair next week Wednesday,
April 18 at UW-Sheboygan and we have a bus going. Please stop in the
counseling office to sign up. Registration Link

*The Sheboygan Falls Park Board* is having a “Tree Planting Day” and
volunteers are needed. The tree planting will be Saturday, April 28th at
7:30am. This is a great volunteer opportunity and a way to help the
community/environment. For further information please talk to Ms. Jarosch
or Mr. Pfister.

*A reminder for all students attending prom this weekend* that a dress code
does apply to this event. As this is a formal event, no jeans or casual
clothing are permitted. Formal wear MUST be appropriate. Please be sure
your conduct is a positive reflection of a member of Sheboygan Falls High
School. Be safe, have a great evening and wear your dancing shoes!

Attention students: FBLA will be hosting a badminton tournament on Monday,
April 16th at 6:30. The cost is $6 per team and teams can sign up in Mr.
Conklin’s room until Friday, April 13th. Prizes will be awarded to the
winning team as well as the team with the best costumes.

*JOB OPPORTUNITIES*

*YMCA looking* for high school volleyball players that would be available
to ref the Thursday night middle school league. The contact would be Fred
Huether at the Falls YMCA.

*Bread & Bean* in Sheboygan Falls is looking for a dishwasher. It would be
a few evenings a week. Stop by to apply or call 467-7257 for more
information.
