*Attention all current and interested students in Robotics*: we will be
\nhaving a parent\/student informational meeting on October 15th from 6:30 pm
\nto 7:30 pm in the high school cafeteria. Any questions, please see Mr.
\nHughes.<\/p>\n
*Picture Retakes are in the high school office \u2013 *please pick them up.<\/p>\n
*SPORTS*<\/p>\n
*ATTN: anyone interested in being a stat or part of the wrestling team*,
\nthere will be an informational meeting on Thursday, October 17, in the
\nauditorium during Enhancement. Sign up under Mrs. Spielvogel in Falcon
\nScheduling.<\/p>\n
*There will be a brief sign up meeting for all girls interested in playing
\nbasketball* this year today, Wednesday, immediately after school in the
\ncafeteria.<\/p>\n
*COUNSELING CENTER*<\/p>\n
*Any 11th or 12th grade students interested in doing a Co-Op* for 3rd or
\n4th quarter, there is a mandatory parent meeting on October 9th from
\n6:30-8:00pm at American Orthodontics in Sheboygan. If you have questions,
\nplease see Mr. Koepsell or Ms. Jarosch.<\/p>\n
*If students are interested in taking an AP exam*, they may sign up and pay
\nin the Counseling Office with Mrs. Groth either before or after school or
\nduring lunch. Sign up will end on Tuesday, October 15. The cost of each
\nAP exam is $94, and may be paid in cash or by check (made out to SDSF).<\/p>\n
*Seniors:* Check your ACP canvas page for details on some scholarship
\nopportunities, including the Herb Kohl Excellence Scholarship. Applications
\nare due Nov. 5th.<\/p>\n
*Our visitors for the week of October 7 at Sheboygan Falls High School*
\nwill be Thursday, October 10, Blue Harbor Resort will have reps here
\noutside the cafeteria advertising jobs available through their organization.<\/p>\n
*Juniors and Seniors!!* Are you in the process of figuring out what you
\nwant to do after high school? If so, the Wisconsin Education Fair is
\nsomething you will not want to miss!! Sheboygan Falls High School will be
\ntaking 40 lucky students along to Lakeland University on Friday, October
\n18th from 9 -10:30 a.m. to the Education Fair being held there. There will
\nbe approximately 100 postsecondary institutions in one location, including
\nmilitary recruiters! You have until Wednesday, October 16th at the end of
\nthe day to get signed up and turn in a field trip form in the Counseling
\nOffice. There is also an online registration you will need to complete.
\nMrs. Groth will email you a link for the online registration once you have
\nsigned up. Come to the Counseling Office soon!!<\/p>\n
*If you signed up to take the PSAT test*, This Friday (October 11) during
\nenhancement we will do the PSAT Pre-Administration. Please bring a number
\n2 pencil (non-mechanical) with you.<\/p>\n
*Juniors and Seniors!* We have a last minute addition to our visitor’s
\nlist for this week. A rep from UW Oshkosh will be coming to SFHS during
\nEnhancement on Wednesday! She will be in the Counseling Office during that
\ntime, and you can sign up to see her under my name (Groth) in Falcon
\nScheduling. If you are too late in signing up because of the short notice,
\nplease come see me. I can get your schedule changed so you can come!<\/p>\n
*Juniors and Seniors* – your NHS applications are due in the counseling
\noffice by 3:!5 pm on Friday, October 11th!<\/p>\n
*A reminder for Seniors!!* If you need a transcript\/ACT scores to send to
\ncolleges\/universities that you are applying to, please stop in the
\nCounseling Office. Mrs. Groth will get those ready for you and then you
\nwill send them where you want them to go. If you are applying to UW
\nMadison, UW LaCrosse, or UW Green Bay you must send them your ACT scores
\nthrough the ACT website. All other colleges\/universities will accept a
\ncopy of your scores from us. Any questions, please see Mrs. Groth.<\/p>\n

*FYI: you can find HS daily announcements in these areas: *Infinite
\nCampus and the Sheboygan Falls School District website. Your students
\nreceive them in their email, on T.V. screens throughout the hallways, on
