Any seventh and eighth grade students interested in Track and Field should
sign up in the office starting March 6th. Track and Field is a great way to
learn how to compete while you improve speed, strength, and endurance while
having a great time with friends and teammates. Everyone
participates–there is no bench in Track and Field! Practice starts on April
3rd (the first day after break), and meets begin April 16. All athletes
need to have paperwork completed (athletic code, concussion form, physical)
and fees turned in before the first practice to participate. There is a
parent meeting at 5pm on April 3rd in the gym. If you have any questions
about the forms, please ask in the middle school office.

*ANNIE CAST ITEMS NEEDED FROM HOME…* The ANNIE CAST COSTUME ITEMS TO BE
BROUGHT FROM HOME, DUE W. 3/7/18

has been posted in the ANNIE Google Classroom. Please review the list of
items, found in the LAST column of sheet, which cast members should bring
from home. Please don’t buy new items, but instead borrow from friends,
shop resale shops, etc. All items brought from home should have the
students name printed on the inside. They should be brought to school *no
later than Weds. March 7th* and *placed into cast locker*. View the posted
video for ideas for orphan costumes. All questions can be directed to Mrs.
Fiorini at 920-467-7880 X4125 <(920)%20467-7880>or at
[email protected]

*CALLING ALL ANNIE ORPHANS!!* Please join Mrs. Fiorini in her room on
THURSDAY to discuss costume needs. *PICK UP YOUR LUNCH AT THE START OF YOUR
RECESS/LUNCH PERIOD* and bring it to room 125. We’ll see you there!

“8th grade students who are part of the Great Discussions conference at St.
Norbert’s on March 7th, please meet in the office during the 7th/8th grade
lunch on Friday March 2nd to discuss the logistics of travel and
conference. Those 8th grade students are Cole M. Chase K., Nathan K, Alex
B., and Hudson K. Thank you. – Mr. Shircel”

*There should be no photos or videos taken backstage it is still part of
the school day. We will make an exception when we are in makeup, but never
when we are backstage and waiting to go on.

*I will attach the photo form – I think the photo will be taken March 14th,
but I can’t say that for sure yet. I will release the final week schedule
next week.

*The T-shirts have been ordered. I have ordered a few extras. It will be
a first come first serve basis for those of you that did not get your order
in.

*I could also use a parent next week and the following week in the halls to
help with supervision. You will need a background check; however, it is a
great way to get to know our cast!

Below you will find a sign-up genius for the takedown of the art show and
striking (taking down) of the set. This will need to be done on the final
night of the play. We need all hand on deck to make that happen.

I’ve also listed clean-ups that still have a few slots open. 🙂

Tickets are available in the Middle School Office – They will go fast
because we have a big cast. Please make sure you get yours early!

Tickets are now on sale for Annie Junior at Sheboygan Falls Middle School.
The show will be March 15 at 7:00 pm; 16th at 7:00 pm, and the 17th at 1:00
pm and 7:00 pm. $5.00 for Adults and $3.00 for Students and Seniors, 5 and
under are free. We have a dual cast, so please check with your performer
to see what show they are in. Tickets can be purchased in the Middle School
Office. It is a general seating performance.

Hello from the Lakeshore Community Healthcare, School Dental Program! This
dental program was utilized this past Fall in the Sheboygan Falls School
District.Lakeshore Community Healthcare (LCHC) and the Sheboygan Falls
School District have partnered together to provide a dental clinic in the
elementary, middle, and high schools. This school program offers x-rays,
cleanings, exams, fillings, sealants and other dental services as needed,

please complete and return our bright green registration forms available in
the school offices or from the school nurses. We plan to return for our
clinic with the Sheboygan Falls schools starting the week of March 19th.
Please return completed forms to your child’s teacher or to the school’s
main office by March 1, 2017. If you have any questions please call Clare
Spaulding, LCHC School Dental Program Coordinator, at 920-783-6633

Class of 2022…..

There is a special Yearbook Tribute planned for you, our last class to
‘graduate’ from the current SFMS. What is needed to make it happen is a
baby picture (or one when you were VERY young). The picture needs to be of
JUST YOU. You can either bring the picture to school in an envelope that
has your name on the outside (place in the basket in the office, it will be
returned to you), or emailed to me WITH YOUR NAME to:

[email protected]

*The STRICT DEADLINE for handing in your picture in order to include is
Friday, March 2nd. *

Please contact me with any questions.

*Health Tip:*

No one likes to be sick and as our country is seeing record high numbers of
the influenza virus, we are encouraging parents to read the article below.
The school policy is for a student to remain free from fever (100.8 or
higher) for 24 hours without fever reducing agents. Please be respectful of
other staff and students wellness and keep your kids home until this is
achieved. The only way to stop the spread of the flu is to keep yourself
and others home when sick.
