The Adventure Club is doing another Chili’s fundraiser but this time it is
for the entire week. From March 17-23 if you bring in a voucher to Chili’s
the Adventure Club will get 15% of your total bill. We thank you for your
support as we will be adventuring on a kayak trip in the Apostle Islands.
Please check out the social media pages or the office for vouchers.

Thanks!

We have a few school house t-shirts left. If you are interested, they are
$10.00 payable to SDSF.

See Mrs. Charbonneau if interested.

TRACK and FIELD MEMBERS – Thank you for signing up and completing the
paperwork. The final item for most of you to take care of is to pay the
$40.00 before the first practice on April 1st.

7th and 8th graders – You may still sign up for track. Please see Mrs.
Miller in the office.

*Hoops for Heart is underway!*

1. Please create an on-line account with a parent’s email address to help
our school win a $500 bonus for PE equipment. No money needs to be donated
for this bonus, only creating an account! We need 50% of our students to
create an account to win this award. If you have any questions on how to
create an account see Mrs. Schreurs. You can even bring in an email
address and she will help you create the account at school.

2. Donations are also beginning to come in. This is of course voluntary,
but if you do collect donations please either use your on-line account or
bring in the Hoops for Heart envelopes which were handed out. If you need
a new envelope, see your PE teacher.

*SFMS Title One Family Night*

*Join us for a family fun night and learn how together, *

*parents and teachers, can support ALL students!*

*Thursday, April 11th from 5:30-7:30 pm*

Both the ES and MS will be hosting a *Cardboard Carnival Build Night*.

(If you have students in both buildings, you can decide the one in which
you’d like to work.) Families will come with their designs and plans and
use the Engineering Design Process to create their own carnival-style
game. The last 30 minutes of the event will be used to share games and try
out others’ creations! If you believe your creation will take longer to
build, we invite you to start your project prior to the build night and use
your time during the event to put on finishing touches.

Families will also have the opportunity to visit with SFMS staff and learn
about a variety of resources to help support learning at home. Raffle
tickets will be distributed toward a chance to win prizes!

*Hey Everybody! Thursday, March 21st is World Down syndrome Day or crazy
socks day! *Do you have a pair of zig-zag, *polka dot*, miss-matched or
animal themed socks?! Please show your own uniqueness and support for our
learners and classmates by rocking your favorite socks on Thursday, March
21st! Thanks for your support!

Attention Sheboygan Falls Students, the Falcon Way has important
information that YOU do not want to miss. The Falcon Way will be
sponsoring two activities during the Student and Staff basketball game.
The two activities are the VIP section at the Student and Staff basketball
game and half time musical chairs. First, the VIP section: There will be
4 winners selected. Each winner will be able to choose a friend to sit in
the VIP section with them. Sitting in the VIP section will give you front
row seats to ALL the action as well as unlimited popcorn and bottled
water. Second, musical chairs: We are looking for one person per grade
level to participate in the student-staff basketball game halftime.
Students will go against staff members in a game of musical chairs! To
enter both or either activity, all you do is need to enter your Falcon
Feather(s) in the Falcon Prize Box which will be located on the stage and
will start the morning of Monday, March 18th. One side of the box will be
designated for the VIP section and the other side for musical chairs. The
winners will be announced the morning of March 22nd. Sheboygan Falls
Middle School Students, keep making EXPECTED choices through out the school
day by being Safe, Responsible and Respectful students. Staff, please
reward students for making EXPECTED choices! Thank you –

Big news from the Art Room at SFMS: our Annual Student Art Exhibit is
undergoing some big changes this year! In the past, we always had artwork
up in the cafeteria during the weekend of our spring musical. Since we
don’t have the “tackable wall space” in our beautiful new commons, we will
not be having a formal BIG art exhibit the weekend of the play. We will
have a small display to celebrate Youth Art Month, which is March! Plans
are underway to have a bigger Art Exhibit in the late spring with the
elementary. Mrs. Fischer and Mr. Hoes are working out the details. Stay
tuned!

It’s time to Unpack our Adjectives.
This song was written by
George Newall and performed by Blossom Dearie. A girl and her turtle
unpack her adjectives unpack her adjectives from an enormous adventure they
had.

Health tip:

It is estimated that 51 million school hours are lost each year due to oral
health issues. Oral Health concerns are the most common chronic disease in
school aged children. Discomfort and self consciousness caused by oral
health disease interferes with the students ability to learn. Everyone
should see their dentist 1-2 times per year. Please contact your nurses if
you need help obtaining dental care. Did you know that your students can
have their teeth checked while here at school through Lakeshore Dental.
They are scheduled to visit our school district the week of 2/25/19. Call
your nurses for details!
