Hello Sheboygan Falls Middle School Students and Staff!

As you all know, April is Autism Awareness month. Remember to wear blue on
Thursday. We hope you learned more about Autism and had good classroom
discussions last week. Now that you know a little more about Autism,
something we could all benefit from is talking about strategies that can
help us all focus and regulate our minds and body. There are all times
when we feel upset or just on over load through out our school day. It is
important that we use our strategies to overcome that barrier. Here is a
visual which we all can benefit from. What strategies do you use to help
you overcome barriers when you feel overwhelmed?

Camp Anokijig is a not-for-profit residential camp run by the Friends of
Camp Anokijig Inc., a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. We serve all
children from the ages of 7-17 and feature outrageously fun programs that
emphasize positive values learned through interaction with good role
models. The camp setting provides a unique opportunity for children to
learn a variety of skills that go far beyond learning to paddle a canoe or
ride a horse – they also provide positive social interactions that allow
children to learn respect for themselves, others, and the world around
them. *In addition to our summer camp program, Anokijig offers spring and
fall outdoor education opportunities, group rentals, horseback riding and
group lessons. Contact us for any of these needs
