A Note from the High School Varsity Volleyball Head Coach, Nick Erdman: All
current 8th graders interested in volleyball are welcome to come to our
spring open gym and can reach out to me at [email protected]
for more information. Open gym will be 3/26/22 6:00 – 8:00 PM

4/4/22 6:30 – 8:00 PM 4/9/22 6:00 – 8:00 PM 4/25/22 6:30 – 8:00 PM

COST: Participating on the tennis team is FREE and if equipment isn’t
owned, I can provide a racket for each student to use while at the courts.

WHEN: season runs from April 4th – June 1st.

Mondays: 5:00pm – 6:30pm

Wednesdays: 2:30pm – 4:00pm

(There are also optional signups for individual/small group tennis lessons
for those who are interested. The fee is incredibly modest compared to ANY
comparable individual tennis lesson in the community.)

The Board for the FEU is aging out this year and we need your help. We have
positions opening and would love to see them filled by willing volunteers.
We have started some great fundraisers to help support the school and new
traditions that we would love to see continue on for all the students.

Open Positions-

President: manages meetings (right now monthly meetings)

Treasurer: manages the bank account and requests from teachers/school for
support

Secretary: manages communications from Falcon Families

Vice President: runs meetings in president’s absence

The next meeting is Tuesday April 5th at 5:30 pm in the Conference Room in
the MS Office. We will be voting in May for the new Board.

A Note From Ms. Jessica Beaudry the Varsity Softball Head Coach

Dear families,

The Varsity High School Softball team has an online Eastbay Team Store that
features various types of apparel. A portion of the proceeds go directly to
the softball team. If you’d like to support our softball program, please
follow the directions below.

purchases. There are no returns or exchanges with this apparel.

Prodigy & More Math Club!

WHO! Open to students in grades 5 -8!

WHAT! Students will have the opportunity to continue on their own personal
Prodigy journey. In addition, a weekly math related challenge will be
presented through a variety of games, puzzles, explorations, and math
mysteries.

WHEN! Mondays after school until 4:15PM, April 4th through May 16th (No
School/Club on April 18th)

WHERE! SFMS Computer Lab 155, located on the first floor, next to the STEM
Classroom

WHY! Math is FUN!!

HOW! Complete the Prodigy & More Math Club Sign Up form

At dismissal, students should bring their coats, backpacks, and their
charged CHROMEBOOK with them to the computer lab. Students will be
dismissed from the main entrance of the middle school at 4:15pm for pickup.
