Sheboygan Falls Middle School Announcements:

September 2nd 2021

Sports:

Cross Country Sign-Up

For 6th- 8th grade students: If you love running, being outdoors, and
improving your fitness while having fun – then cross country is for you!
Practices will begin NEXT Tuesday Sept. 7th after school at 3:15 in the
Commons area (all forms would need to be turned in by the first practice).
The parent meeting will also take place right after the first practice at
4:15 in the Commons area. All those interested should sign up using the
link found in the MS website under Athletics/Cross Country. Any questions

Golf Program

For 7th and 8th grade students.

When: Tuesday and Thursday, September 14th – October 7th.

Where: Sunset Hills

Time: 3:30 pm – 5:15 pm

Volleyball:

Begins on Thursday, September 2nd with practice running from 3:15 to 5:15.
All paperwork should be completed and handed in to the office by then.

Library Info!

Welcome back! We are so excited to welcome you back INTO the library this
year. There are many new items in the library. We hope you come check out a
couple of books to start the year. Just a reminder, you can look up any
book by going to Destiny on your Chromebooks or at the look up stations in
the library. Welcome back & have a great year!!

lessons, for both math and reading, over the summer break. Spending just 45
minutes each week working on these lessons can have a BIG impact on
continuing your academic growth and being prepared for the start of the new

6th Annual Sheboygan A’s 5K Home Run/Walk

This is a family friendly event being

held on Saturday, May 22nd with the race starting at 8 am.

Following the race, the Sheboygan A’s Baseball Team will play their

Opening Day Tournament starting at

11 am. We are looking to encourage

the area youth (parents, too) to participate in the run/walk. All info

Athletes will experience something new and challenging every day throughout

With cough and cold season upon us, we’d like to review what are considered
COVID symptoms and therefore requires your child to stay home:

ONE of the following: cough, trouble breathing, or loss of taste/smell OR

TWO of the following: congestion, sore throat, fever, headache, body aches,
vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, fatigue

We are asking that siblings and children of adults being tested for COVID
please stay home, even if they are not showing symptoms. This is due to the
spread in the schools linked to household contacts.If you are unsure if you
or your child needs to be tested, PLEASE keep all household members home
until you speak with a school nurse or your family physician.

Help us stay open by keeping your sick kids home.

Depending on their symptoms, you will hear from a School Nurse who will
help determine what day your children may safely return to school.

No School: Spring break Monday, March 29th – Friday, April 2nd.

Monday April 5th is a professional development day no school for students.
School will resume on Tuesday April 6th.

Sports:

Track: First practice will be Monday April 12th.Sign up for 7th and 8th
graders has ended. If any Sixth grade students want to sign up may.The last
day to sign up and have paperwork in is Wednesday April 7th. If you need to
fill out paperwork you can stop by the office. Sign up can be found in the
app in classlink. If you have not had a physical, it is best to schedule

A Note From Amy Lawrenz Food Nutrition Director: meals are still free till the
end of the school year. Free Breakfast – take it for a nutrition break
later or an after school snack. If you’re cold lunch- grab a milk, fruit
and vegetable and it’s free to add to your lunch.
