*Sheboygan County National Guard COVID-19 Testing site*<\/p>\n

*Only open Wednesday with New hours*<\/p>\n

The WI National Guard testing site at the Aging and Disability Resource
\nCenter in Sheboygan Falls will no longer be open on Fridays. The site will
\nremain open on every Wednesday during the newly revised hours of 9am-5pm,
\nuntil March 10th. To see all the testing options in Sheboygan County, in

*A Note From Our Nurses:*<\/p>\n

We are asking that if you have anyone in your household being tested for
\nCOVID to please also stay home until results are in. If you are not sure if
\nyour household member needs a COVID test, please email Nurse Lisa or Nurse
\nAmber and we can help figure out the next steps.<\/p>\n

I understand that this is something that has been dynamic throughout this
\nschool year, and we are sorry for any confusion that has caused. We have
\nbeen trying to follow our county\u2019s guidance, disease burden, and what other
\narea schools are doing.This is no small task!<\/p>\n

With cough and cold season upon us, we’d like to review what are considered
\nCOVID symptoms and therefore *requires your child to stay home:*<\/p>\n

* ONE* of the following: cough, trouble breathing, or loss of taste\/smell<\/p>\n

*OR*<\/p>\n

*TWO* of the following*:* congestion, sore throat, fever, headache, body
\naches, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, fatigue<\/p>\n

*We are asking that siblings and children of adults being tested for COVID
\nplease stay home, even if they are not showing symptoms.*<\/p>\n

This is due to the spread in the schools linked to household contacts.<\/p>\n

If you are unsure if you or your child needs to be tested, PLEASE keep all
\nhousehold members home until you speak with a school nurse or your family
\nphysician.<\/p>\n

*Help us stay open by keeping your sick kids home. *<\/p>\n

Depending on their symptoms, you will hear from a School Nurse who will
\nhelp determine what day your children may safely return to school.<\/p>\n

*A Note From Mrs. Fritz Library Media Specialist: *<\/p>\n

The race is still on for the other grade levels, keep fueling up the tank
\nand reading!<\/p>\n

– *Race Across America with your Cohort by March 2nd*
\n– \u201cDrive\u201d from the East Coast to the West Coast by reading books and
\nwatching the state videos.
\n– Pick an East Coast state, watch the video, and have one person in
\nyour cohort read a book and tell the class about it. Then, move on to the
\nnext driveable state until you are on the West Coast
\n– Send updates to Ms. Fritz! First cohort across the country wins!<\/p>\n

*Spelling Bee: *Can you spell words like: pearlescent, parachuted, and
\npalindrome? Well some of our students can!<\/p>\n

*Congratulations* to our 2020-2021 All-School Spelling Bee winner – 7th
\ngrader Mia Winter and our runner-up 8th grader Elena Rosalez.<\/p>\n

Mia went on to compete at the regional spelling bee. Thank you to everyone
\nwho participated, and to our grade level finalists. From 5th grade the
\nfinalists were: Zeke V, Preston K., Jaslyn L., and Maris V. From 6th grade
\nthe finalists were: Micah B., Logan G., and Adrian B. From 7th grade the
