Welcome to Winter!<\/span><\/p>\n

This time of year brings several themes that involve thinking about the experience of others, and our own well-being.\u00a0February is Black History Month, Heart Health Awareness Month, and Friendship Month (our version of Valentine\u2019s Day celebrations).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As a school community, we encourage students to develop their self and social awareness, self-reflection and responsible decision-making (which are several of the social-emotional competencies).\u00a0These are lifelong skills that you can support at home, too.\u00a0We encourage you to have conversations about your safety plan and wellness choices as a family.\u00a0Your engagement with your child\u2019s growth and learning means the world to them!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Do you know a soon-to-be 4-Year Old Who is Ready for School?<\/span><\/p>\n

We are in the beginning stages of planning for our newest group of 4-year old Kindergarten students who will join us in the fall of 2024.\u00a0Our 4-year old kindergarten <\/span>PREVIEW NIGHT<\/a> is coming up on Tuesday, January 30th.\u00a0We will have dinner for incoming 4K families served between 5:00 and 5:45 PM, with tours happening in our 4K area after dinner through 6:30 PM. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you have a child who will be 4 years old on or before September 1st, 2024<\/span>, we\u2019d love to have you come and take a look around! <\/span>Please complete the<\/span> Fall 2024 4K <\/a>SURVEY<\/a> OR call 920-467-7820 by Friday, January 26th<\/span> if you will be attending on January 30th.\u00a0If you can\u2019t make it, but have a 4K’er joining us this next fall, please fill out the <\/span>SURVEY<\/a> so we can prepare to welcome your child next September.<\/span> It is an exciting time to be a Falcon!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

We help students prepare for drills using this conversation <\/span>SLIDE DECK<\/a>.\u00a0Students do a great job learning about where to go in an emergency and practicing making safe choices.\u00a0 Our drill for February is a medical drill.\u00a0 While students do not have an active role in this drill, they can learn their part in keeping hallways clear for medical professionals, and also think about their safety plan at home.\u00a0 Have you talked about what to do in a medical emergency in your family?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

We are excited to announce that twenty-four school districts are partnering with Channel 5 to recognize exceptional school employees in a program called the \u201cEastern Wisconsin Excellence in Education” awards.\u00a0This program is similar to the \u201cGolden Apple\u201d and \u201cShining Stars\u201d programs in Green Bay and the Fox Valley.<\/span><\/p>\n

This program allows parents, students, community members, and staff to nominate deserving school employees in the following categories:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
