Happy (Almost) Summer, Falcons!<\/span><\/p>\n

We sincerely appreciate your engagement and partnership this school year and wish you a summer filled with all of the experiences and memories a summer can hold (with maybe a little bit of reading and math skills). \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n

While fall is ways off, we\u2019d like to take this opportunity to remind families that our school hours are changing, along with our calendar, for the <\/span>2024-25 school year<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

As follows is some information on school hours for next year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kindergarten through 4th Grade School Times:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

7:30 AM: Campus Opens for all 4K through 8th grade students (No change in this, reminder that supervision is not provided prior to this time)<\/span><\/p>\n

7:55 AM: School Begins at SFES\u00a0 (<\/span>NOTE<\/span><\/strong>: this is 5 minutes earlier than previous years)<\/span><\/p>\n

3:08 PM: School Ends at SFES (<\/span>NOTE<\/span><\/strong>: this is 8 minutes later than previous years) <\/span>(no early release on Wednesdays)<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Community Facility Survey Results<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Dear Families,<\/span><\/p>\n

At last week’s Board meeting, the Board of Education officially received and reviewed the results of the recent Community Facilities Survey. A total of 475 community members completed the survey, which was available from April 26th to May 6th.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Below are some key takeaways from the input provided:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The survey also provided details on various levels of capital referendum questions and asked respondents to indicate their potential support for each option. Should the Board of Education decide to place a referendum question on the November 2024 ballot, information collected from this survey will help determine priorities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As we approach the last day of school, just a reminder to practice safe driving procedures if you are picking your child up on the last day of school.\u00a0 Please continue to be a positive role model and safe citizen by using seatbelts and being aware of other drivers and walkers.\u00a0 Students enjoy waving, too, but should remain in their seats.\u00a0 Please also be sure to update PikMyKid and\/or your child\u2019s teacher well in advance so everyone gets where they need to go successfully at 11 AM on the last day of school.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our drill for the month of May was a fire drill, which we practiced on Friday, May 17th.\u00a0 Students are very proficient with this specific drill, and we are glad we have had the opportunities to successfully plan to be prepared, not scared, this school year.\u00a0 Thank you for your support at home.\u00a0 We help students prepare for drills using this conversation <\/span>slide deck<\/span><\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The WI Department of Health has released new school immunization requirements for the 2024-25 school year. More information can be found <\/span>HERE<\/span><\/a>. In summary, any student entering 7th grade is required to get a meningococcal vaccine and students entering 12th grade must receive a meningococcal booster. Again, more information can be found <\/span>HERE<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

TO: FAMILIES OF STUDENTS WHO HAVE MEDICATION AT SCHOOL<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

END OF YEAR MEDICATION PROCEDURE:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Families are reminded that they are expected to pick up their child\u2019s medication at the end of the school year. Unless the student\u2019s medication form indicates that they may carry and administer their own medication, <\/span>the student may <\/span><\/em>not<\/span><\/em><\/strong> transport their own medication home. <\/span><\/em>\u00a0<\/span>Medication must be picked up prior to the last day of school (Thursday, June 6th). We can not store any medication over the summer.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
