Dear SFHS Falcon Families,<\/span><\/p>\n

As we near the end of Quarter 3, I would like to thank the entire SFHS school community for their support. We would not have the success that we enjoy here if it weren\u2019t for our supportive parents and families. In terms of Quarter 4, we will be having our state-mandated PreACT Secure (April 3rd) and Forward testing (week of April 8th) for our 9th and 10th graders. We have already completed the 11th grade testing, the ACT, in mid-March.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is extremely important that our students participate fully in the testing process. We really appreciate your help in getting through this very busy time of the year.\u00a0 Please also help us ensure classroom success for the remainder of the school year by assisting your student with their day-to-day academic work. As always, we thank you for your support and encouragement!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The inter-district public school Open Enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend public school in a school district other than the one in which they reside or to remain in their current district in the event that they move out of the district before the start of the 2024-25 school year (Moving? See\u00a0<\/span>HERE<\/span><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>for more information on remaining in the District through the school year).\u00a0Open Enrollment will allow student(s) to continue attending school in the School District of Sheboygan Falls. Please call Lisa Berg at 920-467-7893 for additional information or check the Department of Public Instruction Website at:\u00a0<\/span>https:\/\/dpi.wi.gov\/open-enrollment<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(also check the 2024-25 Open Enrollment Regular Application Period Brochure).<\/span><\/p>\n

There is no tuition cost for students participating in the Open Enrollment program, but parents are responsible for transporting their student(s) to and from school.<\/span><\/p>\n

The open enrollment period for the 2024-25 school year is from February 5th until 4:00 p.m. on April 30th, 2024.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Applications must be done on the DPI (Department of Public Instruction) website at\u00a0<\/span>https:\/\/dpi.wi.gov\/open-enrollment<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0A link to this site will also be available on the school web site during the application period at:\u00a0<\/span>www.sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0The DPI website will be active from February 5th until 4:00 p.m. on April 30th, 2024.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The CDC has issued\u00a0<\/span>new guidelines for COVID-19.<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>It is no longer necessary to isolate for 5 days.<\/strong>\u00a0 The School District of Sheboygan Falls will start following the same guidelines for COVID-19 as we do for influenza and other viruses.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Individuals who test positive for COVID-19 should stay home until they are fever free for 24 hours without taking fever reducing medications.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
