       Brianna Brunner Endowment

Fall Harvest and School Garden Tours

           October 7, 2016 4 – 6 pm

 

An event coordinated by teachers, faculty, students and families to raise funds to be used for our school families in time of need, emergency, medical or acute needs.

 

This harvest festival is for children at SFES ages 3-7 years old. (4K-1st grades; $5 admission fee)

 

Activities include: Face Painting, Petting Zoo, Jewelry Making, Cookie Decorating, Butterfly Painting, Putt Putt Golf and more!

 

Limited tickets are available (100) at the ES office. Please purchase by October 5th!

 

SF Rec Department News

 

K-4th Grade Wrestling

 

The K-4th Grade Wrestling program will run on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (5:45-7:00pm) from October 25th-November 10th.  There will also be a free in-house tournament on Saturday, November 12th.

3rd-8th Grade Basketball

 

Mandatory Signup Day and meeting is Sunday, October 9th @ 1pm in the High School Gym.  Practice begins October 30th.

 

Forms and information can be found on the Rec Department website (http://www.sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us/recdept/rec-dept-basketball.cfm), at the Aquatic Center front desk, and all SF School offices.

 

If you are interested in being a head or assistant coach for a boys or girls 3rd-8th grade basketball team, please contact Bryan Hansen before next Wednesday, September 21st at 467-7827or

There will be a Basketball Association meeting for all interested coaches on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 6:00pm in the Sheboygan Falls High School Library.

The Rec Department is once again partnering with StoreFront Gallery & Studio in downtown Sheboygan Falls to offer a Comic Book Workshop on Saturday, June 11th from 10:00am – 12:00pm.

Monday-Thursday

June 27, 28, 29 & 30.

Boys entering grades 4, 5, & 6 9:00-11:00 am in the ES Gym

Boys entering grades 7, 8 & 9 12:00 – 2:30 pm in the HS Gym

*This year’s camp includes age-appropriate instruction, strong emphasis on fundamentals, focus on shooting techniques, ball handling skills and offensive/defensive development. Come join the fun with the Sheboygan Falls coaching staff and players.

Girls Basketball Camp

Camp Information Grades: 2nd- 8th (2016-17 School Year’s Grade)

Dates: June 21st & 22nd

Time: 3:00-5:15pm

Location: Sheboygan Falls Elementary

School Cost: $35.00 per player

Skill Development Camp will include:

 

·         Form shooting

·         Shooting off the dribble

·         Ball Handling

·         Finishing around the basket

·         Jump stops

·         Passing
