This week is National School Lunch Week.

Trivia on what this is: Created by President John F. Kennedy in 1962, National School Lunch Week (NSLW) is a weeklong celebration of the school lunch program. SNA members celebrate in their cafeterias every year with decorations, special menus, events, and more.

 

If you are eating with us this week, we will have special things to hand out during the week.
Make sure to take a selfie of keeping yourself healthy by eating lunch with us.

 

You can send the selfies over to the kitchen. We would love to display them.

 

There will be no school on Thursday, October 22nd and Friday, October 23rd!

Railroad Re-Construction Update:
Poplar Street is expected to reopen late this afternoon. Monroe Street between Broadway Street and Poplar Street will be closed beginning September 13 through September 26th. During this period, the sidewalks will also be inaccessible / closed and foot traffic will be very limited in the area. If you have children that normally walk to school along Monroe St. please make arrangements for a different route so they get to school safe.

Future Falconettes Dance Mini-Camp for students in Grades 1-4: 

 

The Sheboygan Falls Varsity Dance Team will be holding a Dance Mini-Camp on the afternoon of Friday, October 9.  Kids will  learn a routine and perform at the football halftime that night. The cost is $25 in advance or $30 at the door and includes a T-shirt, Poms, and Dinner!  Registration forms are available in the scanned documents in the announcements, in the office, or from your teacher.  Forms must be returned to the school office by Wednesday, September 23 to receive the discounted price. No payment is due until check-in on October 9.

Future Falconettes Dance Mini-Camp for students in Grades 1-4: 

 

The Sheboygan Falls Varsity Dance Team will be holding a Dance Mini-Camp on the afternoon of Friday, October 9.  Kids will  learn a routine and perform at the football halftime that night. The cost is $25 in advance or $30 at the door and includes a T-shirt, Poms, and Dinner!  Registration forms are available in the scanned documents in the announcements, in the office, or from your teacher.  Forms must be returned to the school office by Wednesday, September 23 to receive the discounted price. No payment is due until check-in on October 9.

Railroad Re-Construction Update:
Poplar Street is expected to reopen late this afternoon. Monroe Street between Broadway Street and Poplar Street will be closed beginning September 13 through September 26th. During this period, the sidewalks will also be inaccessible / closed and foot traffic will be very limited in the area. If you have children that normally walk to school along Monroe St. please make arrangements for a different route so they get to school safe.

Picture re-take day is scheduled for September 24th

The PTO will not run the Market Day program this year due to the company being sold and no longer running as Market Day.

Sheboygan Falls Chili's Night:

Come support Sheboygan Falls HS Students at Chili's all day Wednesday September 16th or all day Thursday September 17th.  If you are looking for a reason to celebrate, September 16th is also Mexico's Independence day!  Come and celebrate while supporting Sheboygan Falls High School.  Chili's will donate 15% of sales back to Sheboygan Falls High School.  We have 30 students working hard to improve their Spanish with an immersion study in Ecuador next June.  Please support this hard working group of students by dining in or ordering Chili's to go.  Simply tell your waiter that you are supporting Sheboygan Falls HS or you can also present a Chili's voucher.  Your support is greatly appreciated!

Parents – If you are interested in being a head or assistant coach for a boys or girls 4th-8th grade Traveling Basketball team, please contact Bryan Hansen, Recreation Director, before September 16, 2015 @ 467-7827 or [email protected]
