Public School Open Enrollment<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend public school in a school district other than the one in which they reside or if you are anticipating a move out of the School District of Sheboygan Falls before the start of the 2017-2018 school year and would like your student(s) to continue attending school in Sheboygan Falls, please call the District Office at 467-7893 for information or check the Department of Public Instruction Website at: http:\/\/dpi.wi.gov\/open-enrollment<\/span><\/a> and check the Open Enrollment Brochure for the 2017-2018 School Year.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There is NO TUITION COST to parents for participation in open enrollment but parents are responsible for transporting their student (s) to and from school.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The open enrollment period for the 2017-2018 school year is from February 6, 2017 to April 28, 2017.<\/u><\/b>\u00a0 The Department of Public Instruction is encouraging all parents to complete Open Enrollment applications on-line. \u00a0<\/b>Applications will be located on the DPI website at http:\/\/dpi.wi.gov\/open-enrollment<\/a>.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A link to this site will also be made available on the school web site at: www.sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The DPI website will be active from February 6, 2017 until 4:00 p.m. on April 28, 2017.\u00a0 A computer will be available in the Sheboygan Falls District Office at 220 Amherst Avenue between the hours of 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM for parents who do not have access to the internet but who wish to apply on-line.\u00a0 Help will be available for completion of the application.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

IF YOU ANTICIPATE A POSSIBLE MOVE OUT OF SHEBOYGAN FALLS, PLEASE COMPLETE THE OPEN ENROLLMENT APPLICATION. You can decide not to participate in open enrollment at any time and cancel your application, but if you do not apply during the open enrollment application period, your student cannot participate in open enrollment for the upcoming year.<\/span><\/p>\n

As winter approaches, it is again time to make plans for possible school closings due to inclement weather.\u00a0 The procedures that have been followed by the School District of Sheboygan Falls over the past several years will be followed again this year.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This means that any decision to close schools for all or any portion of a school day will be made as early as possible in order to afford parents the opportunity to make alternate child care or transportation plans.\u00a0 All closing announcements or early dismissals will be made on the school web page:\u00a0 <\/span>www.sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us<\/span><\/b><\/a>, <\/span><\/b>an automated school message, <\/b>and on the following area radio stations:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
