January 12-16, 2015 is Adult School Crossing Guard Recognition Week.\u00a0 Adult School Crossing Guards provide an invaluable service in helping to ensure the safe passage of our youngest pedestrians walking between home and school. Don\u2019t forget to thank them for all they do!<\/span><\/p>\n

Attention Future Falconettes!<\/span><\/b>\u00a0 The Jan. 8th Varsity Dance Team Dance Mini-Camp\u00a0that was cancelled due to weather has been rescheduled to\u00a0<\/span>Friday, February 13<\/span>.\u00a0 So if you didn\u2019t get a chance to sign up before \u2013 it\u2019s not too late!\u00a0 Girls will learn a routine and perform at the JV basketball halftime that night. The cost is $25 in advance or $30 at the door and includes a T-shirt, Poms, and Dinner! Additional registration forms will be available in your school office. Forms must be returned to the school office by\u00a0<\/span>Friday, January 30<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>to receive the discounted price.\u00a0\u00a0If you have already pre-registered and have a conflict with this new date, a full refund will be provided. SF Rec Department to Offer Art Workshop<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The Rec Department is once again partnering with StoreFront Gallery & Studio in downtown Sheboygan Falls to offer a "Copper Wire Art Exploration"\u00a0workshop\u00a0on\u00a0Saturday, January 24th from 10:30am-12:00pm.\u00a0 The workshop is designed for children 8 years old and up and is open to the first 20 people registered.\u00a0 All the information, including registration forms, can be found on the Rec Department website:\u00a0<\/span>http:\/\/www.sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us\/recdept\/art-classes.cfm<\/a><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/u><\/p>\n

Our main program is called \u201cResident Camp\u201d which offers a wide<\/span><\/p>\n

variety of activities for all ages and emphasizes a well-rounded and<\/span><\/p>\n

fun camp experience. . \u201cResident Camp Specialty Programs\u201d and<\/span><\/p>\n

"Day Trips\u201d combine all of the of \u201cResident Camp\u201d, but they also<\/span><\/p>\n

focus on one particular activity or travel out of camp for a few hours<\/span><\/p>\n

of adventure. For the camper who wants to experience a more rustic<\/span><\/p>\n

style of camping, we offer the "Adventure Trips" that start and end<\/span><\/p>\n

at Anokijig, but travel to seek out once-in-a-lifetime thrilling, unique<\/span><\/p>\n

outdoor adventure experiences.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Sheboygan Falls School District is committed to providing an exceptional education for the students of the community of Sheboygan Falls. The Board of Education and the Superintendent are asking the community to become a part of a three, one-\u00adhour community conversations with us to talk about current and future educational issues facing our schools. We think that by working together we will come up with better solutions moving forward.<\/span><\/p>\n

Initially three community conversations are scheduled for\u00a0January 21, at Sheboygan Falls Elementary School library\u037e\u00a0February 18at the Middle School library\u037e and\u00a0March 18, 2015\u00a0at the High School library. Each meeting will be held from\u00a06:15-\u00ad7:15 p.m.\u00a0The evening will begin with a brief overview of local education initiatives and issues to help participants understand that district\u2019s mission, vision and commitments and why these have been developed.<\/span><\/p>\n

A majority of the meeting will be dedicated to dialoguing with participants about their ideas and feedback to help the district move forward as it addresses community priorities, and future decisions. So that we may adequately prepare for attendance, please call Julie Hahn at\u00a0<\/span>920-\u00ad467\u00ad-7893<\/span><\/a>\u00a0to indicate you will be attending. However, last minute plans change \u00ad if you find that you are able to attend but have not RSVP\u2019d, no one will be turned away. Please join us!<\/span><\/p>\n

REMINDERS – STUDENT DROP OFF AND PICK UP<\/span><\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

Unless a parent or guardian needs to come into the building to meet with a staff member, they should not bring their children into the building. To help students learn independence, they need to line up and enter with the other students.<\/span><\/p>\n

Students who are being picked up after school are dismissed at the northeast atrium Door #1<\/i><\/b>. This is the pick-up\/drop off circle.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n


<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Remember that if you are going to get out of your car to pick up your child, you cannot park in the drop off circle. At no time will students be allowed to cross a street or walk through a parking lot without an adult.<\/b> When students are dropped off in the morning, they are expected to walk to the playground on the outside sidewalks. They should not go through the building to get to the playground.<\/u><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Please do not park on either side of the road directly in front of school.\u00a0 The front parking lot on the west side of the building, near the pick-up lane, should be used for parents picking up their children.\u00a0 At no time should children be left unattended in the parking lot or to cross the street.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
