HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS<\/p>\n

October 10, 2024<\/p>\n

\nJuniors and Seniors: Would you like more information on more than 100
\ncolleges and universities? Then the Wisconsin Education Fair
\n<www.wefs.org\/<\/a>> is an excellent opportunity for you. Mr. Koepsell
\nand Ms. Jarosch will be taking any current juniors and seniors who would
\nlike to attend on Thursday, October 17. We will leave at approximately 9am
\nand return by 10:15am. There is no fee for attending this event. You must
\nfill out the form below by Thursday, October 10 if you are interested
\n(space is limited). There are a few things you need to do in order to
\nattend.<\/p>\n

1. Fill out this Google Form

\n.<\/p>\n

2. When you fill out the form above, Ms. Jarosch will send you the
\nregistration link and you will also need to complete a field trip form for
\nthe school. She will let you know how to pick up the form when she sends
\nyou the registration link.<\/p>\n

Attention students! We have a lot more visitors coming! On Tuesday, October
\n15, we will have a rep from St. Norbert College in Green Bay, and then also
\nour LTC Start College Now rep, in the Counseling Office during SOAR. Then
\non Wednesday, October 16, we will have a rep in the Counseling Office
\nduring SOAR from UW Stevens Point. Please use the Google Forms Mrs. Groth
\nsent out in emails to get signed up for any or all of these 3 visits.
\nFinally, on Wednesday, October 16th our US Coast Guard rep will be back
\noutside the cafeteria during lunches. As always, please make him feel
\nwelcome and go visit with him, but then return to the cafeteria when you
\nare done.<\/p>\n

Volunteer opportunities for NHS and Key Club students:<\/p>\n

SF Dance Invite 2024 Saturday, November 9th – We would love for any
\nvolunteers 14-18 to choose to work either as a concessions worker in the
\ncafeteria, score sheet runners, cafeteria cleaners or bake sale table
\nmonitor.<\/p>\n

Senior photos are due 1\/3\/25 (the Friday after we come back from winter
\nbreak). Please submit them to Ms. Covert via email
\nacovert@sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us<\/a><\/p>\n

If your parent\/guardian is interested in purchasing a senior ad, ads will
\nbe due 12\/20 (the Friday before winter break). They are available for
\npurchase on yearbookforever.com<\/p>\n

Students! Be part of history! The 100th anniversary yearbook is available
\nfor purchase now at yearbookforever.com. The price increases from $50 to
\n$55 on 12\/1 and from $55 to $60 on 4\/12.<\/p>\n

FUTURE BUSINESS LEADERS OF AMERICA UPDATES<\/p>\n

If any parents, friends, or family are interested in volunteering at SFHS
\nFBLA Regional Leadership Competition, please reach out to Ms. Kuehne (
\nkrkuehne@sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us<\/a>). We are looking for adults to judge
\npresentation events and volunteers to support FBLA members during
\nconcessions and lunch service<\/p>\n

FFA Members: The next FFA meeting is October 14th at 6:30 PM in the ag
\nshop. After the meeting there will be pumpkin carving. Bring your own
\npumpkin if you would like to participate!<\/p>\n

Want to try a new angle? Try fishing club. The first meeting is on October
\n21st at 6:00 PM in the high school cafeteria.<\/p>\n
