HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS<\/p>\n

October 22, 2024<\/p>\n

Attention students! We will have several visitors coming up again! On Tuesday,
\nOctober 22 we will have a rep from UW Oshkosh in the Counseling Office
\nduring SOAR, as well as our LTC Start College Now rep. On Wednesday,
\nOctober 23, a rep from Lakeland University will be in the Counseling Office
\nduring SOAR, and then on Thursday, October 24 we will have a rep from
\nLawrence University in the Counseling Office during SOAR. Mrs. Groth will
\nsend out a Google Form for each of these visits! Please feel free to sign
\nup for any\/all of the visits! On Wednesday, October 23, our Youth
\nApprenticeship rep, Kaise, will be back again meeting with YA students. We
\nwill be requesting students for her visit. If you do not get requested
\nthis week, she will be back again next week to meet with the rest of the YA
\nstudents.<\/p>\n

Attention Boys Basketball Players – Anyone interested in playing basketball
\nthis year, please attend the short Boys Basketball meeting after school on
\nThursday in the cafeteria? The meeting will start after school at 3:30pm.<\/p>\n

If you are unable to attend the meeting, please reach out to Coach Korff by
\nemailing him your information – ckorff@sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us<\/a><\/p>\n

Do you like to volunteer and enjoy working with people? You should join Key
\nClub! It’s not too late to join. Please email Ms. Jarosch and she will sign
\nyou up!<\/p>\n

Attention! SFHS PENNY WAR<\/p>\n

You have surely heard about Hurricane Helene and Milton that recently
\ndecimated six southern states. Hurricane Helene dumped 42 trillion gallons
\nof rain over those states, which is the equivalent to the flow of Niagara
\nFalls for 1.75 years. It killed over 230 people and left a path of
\ndestruction for 500 miles. Hurricane Milton dropped 3.4 trillion gallons of
\nrain in Florida and left many homes and communities destroyed.<\/p>\n

Key Club and NHS are partnering to raise funds for hurricane relief. This
\nis in your 3rd hour class! You can bring in money to your 3rd hour anytime
\nthroughout the day from Wednesday, October 23 to next Friday, November 1.<\/p>\n

Pennies count for your class and silver coins\/dollars count against your
\nclass! You can sabotage other 3rd hour classes by putting silver
\ncoins\/dollars in their buckets!<\/p>\n

Prize for winning: the 3rd hour that earned the most pennies the week of
\nNovember 4th will get donuts on Monday, pizza on Wednesday, and cookies
\n(baked goods) on Friday.<\/p>\n

This starts Wednesday, October 23rd and ends Friday, November 1 at 3:20<\/p>\n

The Goal: $3,000 we will split the profit amongst 3 organizations: Red
\nCross, Humane Society, and Global Empowerment Mission<\/p>\n

Volunteer opportunities for NHS and Key Club students:<\/p>\n

SF Dance Invite 2024 Saturday, November 9th – We would love for any
\nvolunteers 14-18 to choose to work either as a concessions worker in the
\ncafeteria, score sheet runners, cafeteria cleaners or bake sale table
\nmonitor.<\/p>\n

\nbe due 12\/20 (the Friday before winter break). They are available for

Students! Be part of history! The 100th anniversary yearbook is available

\n$55 on 12\/1 and from $55 to $60 on 4\/12.<\/p>\n

If any parents, friends, or family are interested in volunteering at SFHS
\nFBLA Regional Leadership Competition, please reach out to Ms. Kuehne (
