HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS<\/p>\n

November 6, 2024<\/p>\n

Attention students! We have many more visitors coming up! On Wednesday,
\nOctober 6, our LTC Start College Now Rep will be back during SOAR in the
\nCounseling Office to meet with any students interested in talking with her.
\nFinally, on Thursday, November 7, our US Army Recruiter wants to meet with
\nany 11th and 12th graders who want to find out more about how the military
\ncan help you with your post secondary plans, whether that be help in paying
\nfor college, or exploring how the military can be a good option for those
\nplanning to go right into the workforce. There are many careers available
\nin the military, from medical to police to mechanical, and many, many more.
\nMrs. Groth will send out Google Forms for the LTC visit on Wednesday and
\nthe US Army visit on Thursday.<\/p>\n

\nPlease support our Spanish students as they participate in a service
\nproject!<\/p>\n

Students will be selling hand woven bracelets from Nicaragua and Guatemala
\nbeginning Monday, November 4th in the cafeteria. The sale will end on
\nThursday, November 7th. All proceeds from the sales are donated directly to
\nthe artists.<\/p>\n

New this year! Bracelets have dropped in price! They are now only $5 and purses
\nare $15. They make great Christmas gifts too!<\/p>\n

The Meca Sportswear representative will be at Sheboygan Falls High School
\non Wednesday, November 6th to take orders for Letter Jackets.<\/p>\n

Jackets can be ordered between 12:00 \u2013 1:00 outside of the cafeteria.<\/p>\n

Students ordering jackets should bring any patches or award letters they<\/p>\n

would like to have sewn on their jacket on order day.<\/p>\n

A $175.00 deposit is required on order day.<\/p>\n

Please make checks payable to Meca Sportswear. Credit cards are also
\nacceptable.<\/p>\n

FBLA – Basketball Tournament – TODAY<\/p>\n

Wednesday, November 6th starting at 6pm in the SFHS Gym<\/p>\n

Freshman\/Sophomore Teams vs Junior\/Senior Teams<\/p>\n

Winner of each game plays the staff!!!<\/p>\n

SFHS, The Falcon’s Nest will sell Falcon’s Merchandise (pins, tech
\nstickers, key chains, and car stickers) at all lunch hours on November
\n11th, 12th, and 13th in the cafeteria lobby. Prices range from $1.00 to
\n$3.50. Designs include the “SF” and Falcon logo. Show your Falcon Pride.<\/p>\n

All current NHS applicants and members – the NHS induction is November
\n25th, 2024 at 6 pm and should last around 1 hour. Please save the date!
\nYour letters of acceptance\/non-acceptance into NHS are now available in the
\nmain office starting Wednesday, November 6th, 2024. Please pick them up at
\nyour lunch time or a passing period. Thank you!<\/p>\n

Subject: Important Announcement: ElasticPass System Usage<\/p>\n

Dear Students,<\/p>\n

We want to thank you for a successful first quarter. We appreciate your
\nhard work and dedication.<\/p>\n

However, we’ve noticed a concerning trend in the use of our ElastiPass
\nsystem. Some students are:<\/p>\n

–<\/p>\n

Exceeding the 7-minute pass limit or failing to end their pass.
\n–<\/p>\n

Visiting restrooms outside of designated zones.
\n–<\/p>\n

Abusing bathroom privileges by not using the restroom.<\/p>\n

These actions disrupt the learning environment and limit access to
\nrestrooms for other students.<\/p>\n

Starting today, we will be monitoring ElastiPass analytics to identify
\nstudents who misuse the system. Administration and teachers will address
\nany patterns of misuse. Repeated abuse may result in the loss of hallway
\nprivileges.<\/p>\n

Let’s work together to maintain a positive and respectful learning
\nenvironment.<\/p>\n

FFA members: The FFA Fruit Sale has started! Please pick up a fruit sale
\nform from Ms. Hand’s classroom door. Forms and money are due November 19.<\/p>\n

Senior photos are due 1\/3\/25 (the Friday after we come back from winter
\nbreak). Please submit them to Ms. Covert via email
\nacovert@sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us<\/a><\/p>\n

If your parent\/guardian is interested in purchasing a senior ad, ads will
\nbe due 12\/20 (the Friday before winter break). They are available for
\npurchase on yearbookforever.com<\/p>\n

Students! Be part of history! The 100th anniversary yearbook is available
\nfor purchase now at yearbookforever.com. The price increases from $50 to
\n$55 on 12\/1 and from $55 to $60 on 4\/12.<\/p>\n

FUTURE BUSINESS LEADERS OF AMERICA UPDATES<\/p>\n

If any parents, friends, or family are interested in volunteering at SFHS
\nFBLA Regional Leadership Competition, please reach out to Ms. Kuehne (
\nkrkuehne@sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us<\/a>). We are looking for adults to judge
\npresentation events and volunteers to support FBLA members during
\nconcessions and lunch service<\/p>\n

Important: Bus Circle Access<\/p>\n

Please be advised that the bus circle off of Amherst Avenue in front of the
\nhigh school is strictly for bus traffic before and after school. To ensure
\nthe safety and efficiency of student drop-off and pick-up, please use the
\nsidewalk side of Amherst Avenue.<\/p>\n

Your cooperation in following these guidelines will help us maintain a
\nsmooth and safe routine for all students.<\/p>\n
