HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS<\/p>\n

December 5, 2024<\/p>\n

ATTENTION SENIORS! The Jostens rep will be here Wednesday, December 11th
\nduring the lunch hours for you to place your graduation order.<\/p>\n

\nPlease be advised that students may not purchase food items with another
\nstudent’s identification card. Each student ID is unique and linked to an
\nindividual account for tracking purchases.<\/p>\n

\nAttention students! We will have a couple visitors coming soon! On Tuesday,
\nDecember 10, our LTC Start College Now rep will be in the Counseling Office
\nduring SOAR. If you would like to meet with her about an upcoming class, or
\nwant to learn more about taking a Start College Now course, please sign up
\nfor this visit in your email from Mrs. Groth. Also, that same day, our US
\nArmy recruiter will be coming during lunches, and will be outside the
\ncafeteria.<\/p>\n

Club Picture Day is going to take place from 8-12 in the band room on
\nWednesday,
\nDecember 11th! Schedule to be announced and posted throughout the school.<\/p>\n

SFHS FBLA Volunteering Opportunity!<\/p>\n

Are you a great gift wrapper? Do you want to help to spread holiday cheer!
\nConsider helping Sheboygan Falls FBLA with their annual gift wrapping for
\ngood during the Sheboygan Local Yokel. This event will be on December 14th,
\nfrom 11:30am-5:00pm at Green Bicycle Co. (1117 N 8th St, Sheboygan, WI
\n53081). Please reach out to Ms. Kuehne (krkuehne@sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us<\/a>)
\nto sign up.<\/p>\n

The Fishing club will be meeting in the Library Monday December 9th
\nstarting at 6pm. Anyone looking to join including students, parents, and
\nstaff are welcome to attend. We will be taking orders for our rod building
\nalong with talking about our ice fishing and Canada fishing trip this
\nsummer. Equipment can be supplied for most if not all of our outings.<\/p>\n

Senior photos are due 1\/3\/25 (the Friday after we come back from winter
\nbreak). Please submit them to Ms. Covert via email
\nacovert@sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us<\/a><\/p>\n

If your parent\/guardian is interested in purchasing a senior ad, ads will
\nbe due 12\/20 (the Friday before winter break). They are available for
\npurchase on yearbookforever.com<\/p>\n

Students! Be part of history! The 100th anniversary yearbook is available
\nfor purchase now at yearbookforever.com. The price is $55. The price will
\nincrease to $60 on 4\/12\/25.<\/p>\n

FUTURE BUSINESS LEADERS OF AMERICA UPDATES<\/p>\n

If any parents, friends, or family are interested in volunteering at SFHS
\nFBLA Regional Leadership Competition, please reach out to Ms. Kuehne (
\nkrkuehne@sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us<\/a>). We are looking for adults to judge
\npresentation events and volunteers to support FBLA members during
\nconcessions and lunch service<\/p>\n

For all students planning on playing baseball this spring, we have begun
\nsome fundraising. We will need to replace\/improve some of our equipment.
\nSo, we will be selling Papa Murphy’s coupon cards. They are a good value
\nand we have had quite a bit of success with these cards in the past. Each
\nplayer will be expected to sell 10 cards at $10 per card for a total of
\n$100. Half of this money comes back to our program. This will allow us to
\npurchase the tees and baseballs (and hopefully screens) that we will need.
\nThe order forms can be picked up in Coach Fladvid’s room (A143). The money
\nfor the coupon cards should be back to me by Thursday, December 19th at
\n3:15. Please see the email you were sent which provides more details.<\/p>\n

Dear Students and Parents\/Guardians,<\/p>\n

We want to address a concerning trend at Sheboygan Falls High School: an
\nincreasing number of student tardies. We’ve noticed a significant number of
\nstudents loitering in the halls, resulting in late arrivals to class. This
\nis a major disruption to the students who are in class ready to learn.
\nParents\/Guardians
\nwill get Infinite Campus notifications for each tardy during the day.<\/p>\n

Please be aware of the following consequences for repeated tardies:<\/p>\n

–<\/p>\n

Detentions: Students who are repeatedly tardy will be assigned
\ndetentions. (Student Handbook page 91)
\n–<\/p>\n

Detention Deadline: Students must serve all outstanding detentions from
\nthe 1st and 2nd quarters before the beginning of the winter break.
\n–<\/p>\n

Restriction from After-School Activities: Starting in the new year,
\nstudents with outstanding detentions as a result of tardies and other
\nbehavioral referrals will not be permitted to attend after-school
\nactivities as spectators.
\n–<\/p>\n

Starting Third Quarter: Students will have one week to serve detentions
\nbefore being unable to attend after-school events as spectators.<\/p>\n

We urge all students to prioritize punctuality and make a concerted effort
\nto arrive to class on time, ready to learn.<\/p>\n
