HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS<\/p>\n

December 18, 2024<\/p>\n

Stop in the High School office to fill out an entry form for your chance to
\nparticipate in the halftime competition during the girls’ varsity
\nbasketball game on Saturday, December 21st!<\/p>\n

\nChristmas Dress Up Days:<\/p>\n

12\/19 Thursday – Ugly Sweater Day – Wear your ugliest Christmas sweater!<\/p>\n

12\/20 Friday – Rockin\u2019 Around the Christmas Tree – Wear anything and
\neverything Christmas! Christmas Out!!!<\/p>\n

\nGALAPAGOS BAKE SALE December 19th and 20th<\/p>\n

There will be a Christmas bake sale before and after school to raise
\nfunds for the summer trip!
\n–<\/p>\n

All items will be between $1-$3. Cash only.<\/p>\n

\nAttention students! We will have several visitors before winter break!
\nOn Friday,
\nDecember 20 our Youth Apprenticeship Rep will be back during SOAR in the
\nCounseling Office meeting with any current YA students she did not see on
\nDecember 13. She will also be meeting with any students interested in
\nlearning more about the Youth Apprenticeship program. Mrs. Groth will send
\nout Google Forms for the LTC visit and the YA visit for students interested
\nin learning about the program. Please watch your email.<\/p>\n

Senior photos are due 1\/3\/25 (the Friday after we come back from winter
\nbreak). Please submit them to Ms. Covert via email
\nacovert@sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us<\/a><\/p>\n

If your parent\/guardian is interested in purchasing a senior ad, ads will
\nbe due 12\/20 (the Friday before winter break). They are available for
\npurchase on yearbookforever.com<\/p>\n

Students! Be part of history! The 100th anniversary yearbook is available
\nfor purchase now at yearbookforever.com. The price is $55. The price will
\nincrease to $60 on 4\/12\/25.<\/p>\n

FUTURE BUSINESS LEADERS OF AMERICA UPDATES<\/p>\n

If any parents, friends, or family are interested in volunteering at SFHS
\nFBLA Regional Leadership Competition, please reach out to Ms. Kuehne (
\nkrkuehne@sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us<\/a>). We are looking for adults to judge
\npresentation events and volunteers to support FBLA members during
\nconcessions and lunch service<\/p>\n

For all students planning on playing baseball this spring, we have begun
\nsome fundraising. We will need to replace\/improve some of our equipment.
\nSo, we will be selling Papa Murphy’s coupon cards. They are a good value
\nand we have had quite a bit of success with these cards in the past. Each
\nplayer will be expected to sell 10 cards at $10 per card for a total of
\n$100. Half of this money comes back to our program. This will allow us to
\npurchase the tees and baseballs (and hopefully screens) that we will need.
\nThe order forms can be picked up in Coach Fladvid’s room (A143). The money
\nfor the coupon cards should be back to me by Thursday, December 19th at
\n3:15. Please see the email you were sent which provides more details.<\/p>\n

Exams begin on January 13th! The exam schedule has been posted by the water
\nfountains and in teachers’ rooms. Please review the schedule carefully and
\nplan accordingly. Here’s a quick overview:<\/p>\n

Daily Schedule: Includes an optional study period, lunch, and open
\ncampus during morning exam periods (for exam exemptions, study hall, or
\nlunch). You can also visit
\nwww.sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us\/o\/sfhs\/page\/daily-schedule<\/a> to view
\nthe exam schedule.
\n–<\/p>\n

Afternoon Classes: Mandatory attendance for all afternoon classes,
\nunless it’s a study hall.
\n–<\/p>\n

Work Release Conflicts: Students with work release schedules that
\nconflict with exams must adjust their work schedule with their employer or
\nmake arrangements with their teacher.
\n–<\/p>\n

Snow Day Contingency: If a snow day disrupts the exam schedule, an
\nadjusted schedule will be implemented on Friday, January 10th to cover all
\nclasses.”<\/p>\n
