HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS<\/p>\n

February 11, 2025<\/p>\n

\nIt’s FBLA Week! FBLA has over 230,000 members across the United States. It
\nwas founded in 1940 and has grown to include more than 5,000 chapters.
\nMembers compete in over 70 different academic events, ranging from business
\nethics to public speaking. The organization also hosts an annual National
\nLeadership Conference, which attracts tens of thousands of students each
\nyear.<\/p>\n

This week, dress up days are as follows:<\/p>\n

Tuesday: Dress for Your Future Career Day<\/p>\n

Wednesday: Decades Day \/ 70’s, 80’s etc<\/p>\n

Thursday: Jersey Day<\/p>\n

Friday: Color Wars \/ Valentine’s Day<\/p>\n

Freshmen: Red for Euros<\/p>\n

Sophomores: Green for the US Dollar<\/p>\n

Juniors: Blue for Pounds<\/p>\n

Seniors: Gray for Rupes<\/p>\n

\nAll 9th, 10th, and 11th graders received course registration information
\nthe week of January 27. Students – please check your email for a message
\nfrom Ms. Jarosch with the slide show. Here is a link to the 2025-26 Course

\nIf you would like to meet with Mr. Koepsell or me, PLEASE fill out the form
\non Classlink. We will schedule a meeting with you as soon as we can.
\nRegistration Forms are due in the Counseling Office on Friday, February 14
\nat 3:15pm.<\/p>\n

\nAttention students! We will have some visitors coming! On Tuesday, February
\n11 and Thursday, February 13 our Youth Apprenticeship Rep will be in the
\nCounseling Office during SOAR meeting with any students interested in
\nlearning more about the Youth Apprenticeship program. Please fill out the
\nGoogle Form Mrs. Groth sent out in emails to get signed up to meet with
\nher. We will also be requesting students who are in YA who need to see her
\nfor monthly check-ins. Watch your Falcon Scheduling!<\/p>\n

\nStudent: You can pick up Snowball guest passes starting Monday, January 27.
\nThey are due back by Thursday, February 13.<\/p>\n

\nNHS will be selling Candygrams before school, after school, and at lunches
\nfrom February 6th – February 12th for $1 and also a limited edition $5
\nValentine gift. Candygrams will be delivered on February 14th during 6th
\nhour.<\/p>\n

\nDonate Blood – RECEIVE A FREE $10 GIFT CARD: All community members and
\nstudents 16+ are welcome to donate blood at the SFHS March 6th blood drive,
\nrunning from 9am-2pm in the high school gym! This is a great opportunity to
\nsupport student scholarships as well as increase blood donations across our
\nregion! Please consider signing up with this link.

\nStudents! Be part of history! The 100th anniversary yearbook is available
\nfor purchase now at yearbookforever.com. The price is $55. The price will
\nincrease to $60 on 4\/12\/25.<\/p>\n

\nbeing held on Wednesdays. Please see the link for the times as they vary
\ndue to other events occurring at the high school. The parent\/player meeting
\nwill be held on Wednesday, February 12th 6:30-7:00 in the high school
\ncafeteria. Open gym will be held immediately after. Please email Coach
\nFladvid (rjfladvid@sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us<\/a>) with any questions. Any
\nplayers that have completed the Papa Murphy’s fundraising can purchase
\ntheir 2025 baseball hats from Coach Fladvid. Checks, for $25, should be
\nwritten out to the SFSD.<\/p>\n

2025 TRAP SEASON, Registration for the Wisconsin State High School Clay
\nTarget League begins on Tuesday February 4th and runs through Monday March
\n24th at noon. This is open to all students 6th-12th grade students. There
\nwill also be an opportunity to participate in the Sheboygan County High
\nSchool Trap League again this year. Please mark your calendar for February
\n18th for an informational meeting at Sheboygan Falls Conservation Club,
\nstarting at 6:00 p.m. Any questions or concerns between now and February
