HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS<\/p>\n

September 17, 2025<\/p>\n

Attention students: We will have some visitors this week! On Wednesday,
\nSeptember 17, our U.S. Marines Recruiter will also be making a visit to
\nSFHS during lunches outside the cafeteria. With these visitors, feel free
\nto stop out and talk with them, but return to the cafeteria when you are
\ndone. Also on Wednesday, September 17 during SOAR, our UW Green Bay rep
\nwill be at SFHS in the Counseling Office. If you would like to meet with
\nher, please fill out the Google Form Mrs. Groth sent out in emails. On
\nThursday, September 18th, our U.S. Air Force Recruiter will be at Sheboygan
\nFalls High School outside the cafeteria during lunches. Finally, on Thursday,
\nSeptember 18, our Youth Apprenticeship rep, Kaise, will be in the
\nCounseling Office during SOAR. SHe would like to meet with any students who
\nare ready to do their September check in with her. Remember, if you are a
\nYA student, you MUST do a monthly check in with Kaise. She will be here
\nevery Thursday during SOAR. To get signed up, please request to be in Mr.
\nKoepsell’s SOAR for Thursday, September 18. The first 20 students signed up
\nare the ones that will get to meet with Kaise that day.<\/p>\n

\nAny 10th or 11th grade student that wants to take the PSAT, please sign up
\nin the counseling office. The purpose of the PSAT is to take an online
\nstandardized test that will be similar to the ACT and give you some extra
\npractice before the ACT. There are only 22 spots available and the deadline
\nto sign up is Friday, September 19th. The cost is $18 and should be paid in
\nthe Counseling Office.<\/p>\n

\nEvery math student at SFHS is required to have a graphing calculator. If
\nyour student does not have one yet, you can buy them at retail stores like
\nWalmart, Target, etc… or Amazon for $100 – $120. Please buy a TI 83 or
\n84. You can also rent one from the school for $35 and get the rental fee
\nback when the calculator is handed in at the end of the year. Please make
\nsure your student has a graphing calculator. Email Michele Franklin at

\nHomecoming!!! Guest Passes may be picked up starting September 3rd. They
\nmust be returned by September 19th!<\/p>\n

\nRed Cross Blood Drive: All community members and students 16+ (in good
\nacademic standing) are welcome to donate blood at the SFHS September 18th
\nBlood Drive from 9 am – 2 pm in the high school gym! This is a great
\nopportunity to support student scholarships and increase blood donations
\nacross our region! Please consider signing up using this link.

\u00a1Vamos a Guatemala! Last chance to sign up! Students interested in
\ntravelling to Guatemala this Summer(9 months from now) should contact their
\nSpanish teacher ASAP.<\/p>\n

Yearbooks are on sale now for $50. Head over to yearbookforever.com to
\norder today. Prices will slowly increase throughout the year, so make sure
\nto snag a book now for the lowest price.<\/p>\n

Didn’t get a yearbook last year? We still have copies available for
\npurchase for $60. Please see Mrs. Mett (room A209) if interested in
\npurchasing a book from the 2024-2025 school year.<\/p>\n
