HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS<\/p>\n

October 8, 2025<\/p>\n

\nAttention students! We have lots of visitors coming again! On Wednesday,
\nOctober 8, we will have 2 visitors during SOAR in the Counseling office-a
\nrep from UW Platteville, and a rep from UW Madison. Please see your email
\nto get signed up for either of these visits.<\/p>\n

\nPICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT<\/p>\n

Wednesday, October 8th beginning at 6pm<\/p>\n

-Everyone is welcome to join<\/p>\n

-Email Ms. Kuehne to sign up with players and team name<\/p>\n

-$5 entry free per team<\/p>\n

-Prizes for 1st and 2nd place<\/p>\n

\nJunior & Senior Students and Parents: If you are interested in finding out
\nmore about financial aid planning for any type of college after high
\nschool, please attend the Financial Aid Planning Night on Monday, October
\n27th at 6:00pm in the HS auditorium.<\/p>\n

Attention those applying for the National Honor Society: Your teacher
\nrecommendations are due by October 20th, 2025 as well as your application.
\nI have only received a handful of teacher recommendations so far. Please
\nmake sure you get those to the two teachers ASAP so they have time to fill
\nthem out before the deadline.<\/p>\n

\nRobotics Informational\/Parent Night<\/p>\n

If you have interest in joining the robotics program here at SFHS, stop in
\non October 14th to learn more! Beginning at 5:00 pm in the cafeteria, we
\nwill cover what the program has to offer for students! Parents are welcome
\nto attend!<\/p>\n

\nThe Music Boosters are having their Annual Kringle, Cookie Dough and Caan’s
\nFundraiser!<\/p>\n

The sale starts Monday, October 6.<\/p>\n

Orders are due Monday, October 20.<\/p>\n

Order pick-up is Thursday, November 20.<\/p>\n

Note similar to last year, all profits will be allocated to student
\naccounts.<\/p>\n

SALES ORDERS HAVE BEEN EMAILED TO FAMILIES FROM CHOIR AND BAND DIRECTORS<\/p>\n

Attention baseball players – There will be a sign up meeting for all
\ninterested students on Thursday, October 16th during the clubs\/activities
\nperiod. We will be meeting in A142 (Ms. Todd’s room). Among other things we
\nwill discuss the open gym timeline and the new personalized jerseys for
\nthis upcoming season.<\/p>\n

We WILL have a Sign Club this Thursday! If you would like to attend please
\nemail Mrs. Fenn –<\/p>\n

Attention Juniors! If you are interested in being part of the Prom
\nCommittee, we will have our first meeting on Thursday, October 16, during
\nClub time. Please sign up with Mrs. Franklin and meet in her room. Bring
\nyour ideas!! All Juniors are welcome and encouraged to attend!!<\/p>\n

Attention any students who are interested in participating in our first
\nmath contest of the year: The first contest is at Lakeland University on
\nOctober 20th, 2025 at 5:30 pm. The cost to you is $0.00. This is a team
\nevent, so we need you – especially underclassmen. I need to know how many
\nare interested by October 10th. Please see Mrs. Franklin ASAP or email her
\nat mafranklin@sheboyganfalls.k12.wi.us<\/a>. Any interested math team\/club
\nmembers should come to our first meeting on October 9th during club time to
\ndiscuss the first competition. Look for the club in the drop-down menu
\nnext Monday when you sign up for clubs.<\/p>\n

\nYearbooks are on sale now for $50. Head over to yearbookforever.com to
\norder today. Prices will slowly increase throughout the year, so make sure
\nto snag a book now for the lowest price.<\/p>\n

Didn’t get a yearbook last year? We still have copies available for
\npurchase for $60. Please see Mrs. Mett (room A209) if interested in
\npurchasing a book from the 2024-2025 school year.<\/p>\n
