HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS<\/p>\n

Students and Families,<\/p>\n

The following is considered academic dishonesty (cheating):<\/p>\n

–<\/p>\n

Submitting work completed by another student \u2014 including work from
\nprevious semesters or years \u2014 as original
\n–<\/p>\n

Copying or slightly modifying previous student assignments, essays,
\nlabs, projects, or any coursework and submitting as original
\n–<\/p>\n

Emailing AI responses from your personal device and copying the
\ninformation to your<\/p>\n

Plagiarism and AI detection tools scan Google Drive and compare current
\nsubmissions to work from previous semesters and years. Matches are
\nidentified even when files have been renamed or slightly altered.<\/p>\n

Responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools can be part of
\nlearning when permitted by the teacher. Always check with the teacher first
\nto determine when and how AI may be used appropriately on any assignment.
\nUsing AI without permission or submitting AI-generated content as original
\nwork constitutes academic dishonesty.<\/p>\n

Consequences for academic dishonesty include a zero on the assignment,
\ndisciplinary referral, loss of credit, and possible impact on National
\nHonor Society eligibility or college recommendations.<\/p>\n

Complete all work originally unless otherwise directed. Teachers remain
\navailable for questions, tutoring, and extra help.<\/p>\n

Sheboygan Falls High School expects integrity in all academic efforts.<\/p>\n

There will be a Forensics meeting on Thursday, November 20 during club time
\nfor interested students. Forensics is an organization that competes in
\nvarious categories to improve speaking skills in front of an audience. It
\nhelps students with eye contact, articulation, and poise so that they are
\nable to present themselves to others in the best light. Sign up on

NHS is having a ONE DAY BAKE SALE on Tuesday, November 25th before school
\nand after school. Everything is $1. Help support your National Honor
\nSociety while enjoying some yummy desserts.<\/p>\n

FFA members please go down to Ms.Hand’s room to get your fruit and meat
\nsale forms! Both forms and all money from your orders are due back to
\nMs.Hand on November 20th. Fruit will be delivered on December 8th. If you
\nhave any questions please let an FFA officer know or Ms.Hand.<\/p>\n

\nYearbooks are on sale now for $50. Head over to yearbookforever.com to
\norder today. Prices will slowly increase throughout the year, so make sure
\nto snag a book now for the lowest price.<\/p>\n

Didn’t get a yearbook last year? We still have copies available for
\npurchase for $60. Please see Mrs. Mett (room A209) if interested in
\npurchasing a book from the 2024-2025 school year.<\/p>\n

There are forms that need to be submitted to Veeser\/ Kuehne before indoor
\nseason begins. Forms can be found on SportsYou or Ms. Kuehne has copies of
\nall the necessary forms in her room if anyone needs them. Please turn into
\nHS office ASAP!<\/p>\n
