\nAttention students! Our visitors through the Counseling Office are off to a
\ngood start! On Tuesday, September 8th, our U.S. Marines recruiter will be
\noutside the cafeteria during lunches. As always, when you are done eating
\nlunch, you may go visit with him. However, when you have finished, please
\nreturn to the cafeteria if the bell has not rung yet. On Wednesday,
\nSeptember 9, our Lakeshore College rep will be in the Counseling Office
\nduring SOAR. If you are currently taking a Start College Now class,
\ninterested in taking one second semester (the deadline to sign up for a
\nsecond semester Start College Now class is October 1!!), or are a junior or
\nsenior and want to learn more about what Lakeshore College has to offer
\nonce you are done with high school, you will want to come to this visit!
\nPlease see your email from Mrs. Groth to get signed up. Finally, on Thursday,
\nSeptember 10, our Youth Apprenticeship rep will be in the Counseling Office
\nduring SOAR. Please watch your email for additional information on this
\nmeeting.<\/p>\n

\nParking Passes: Parking passes can be picked up in the High School
\noffice starting
\nTuesday, September 8th Before School – After school – During Lunch!<\/p>\n

If you have not signed up for \/ paid for a permit, please do so ASAP! Ticketing
\nwill begin next week!<\/p>\n

\nAny student currently on the Robotics team or interested in joining the
\nRobotics team should meet Mr. Nikson in the library on Wednesday morning at
\n7:35 AM. This meeting pertains to an opportunity to earn high school credit
\nfor your participation.<\/p>\n

\nFBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) will hold an informational
\nmeeting Thursday,
\nSeptember 10th during Club SOAR. Sign up in Falcon Scheduling for Mrs.
\nBehling’s room.<\/p>\n

Next FBLA Leadership Team meeting- October 1st at 7:15am in Mrs. B’s room.<\/p>\n

\nFFA members! If you are interested in joining FFA, please come to the
\nmeeting on September 14th at 7:00 pm in Ms. Hand’s room. Please also take
\na membership form from her door.<\/p>\n

\nGirls interested in playing soccer this year – There will be an
\ninformational meeting during Club time on Thursday, September 17th. Please
\nsign up in ElasticClass under Mrs. Spielvogel.<\/p>\n

\nAttention Students: If you need to rent a calculator, please stop by the
\nlibrary to pick up a Calculator Rental Form. The form must be completed and
\nreturned to Mrs. VK in the library before a calculator can be issued. Remember,
\nthere are a limited number of calculators available, so please plan
\naccordingly.<\/p>\n

\nIf you are in 10th or 11th grade and interested in taking the PSAT, please
\nsign up in the counseling office. The cost is $18 and must be paid to
\nreserve your spot. There are only 25 spots available-first come, first
\nserved! The deadline to sign up will be Friday, Sept. 18th. The PSAT is an
\nopportunity to practice a standardized test before the ACT. The test will
\nbe taken on Wednesday, Oct. 14th. Please email Mr. Koepsell if you have any
\nquestions.<\/p>\n
