\nisolated from others at school or you were new at school and it took time
\nto make friends, you know what it feels like to be left out. Even if you
\nwere never isolated, imagine how it would feel. Make friends with someone
\nat school whom you don\u2019t know. Invite them to sit at your lunch table or
\njoin you in an after school activity. You probably wish someone had done
\nthat for you. Be a leader. Take action and don\u2019t let anyone at school be
\nin isolation.<\/p>\n
*Volunteers* are needed to help at the SF Kiwanis Pig Roast at The Village
\nat 170 this Sunday, October 15. They need 4 volunteers for the first shift
\nfrom 11-2 and 4 for the second shift from 2-5. If you can help, please sign
\nup on the Get Involved website or stop in the counseling office.<\/p>\n

*Boy\u2019s Basketball:* Anyone interested in participating in boy\u2019s basketball
\nthis winter, there will be a sign-up meeting Tuesday (10\/17) morning at 7:30 in

*Parent meeting for wrestling* will be Thursday, November 2nd at 7:00pm in
\nthe HS cafeteria.<\/p>\n
*To parents of new, and (hopefully!) returning RoboRiot students*, RoboRiot
\nis seeking new mentors, and parents willing to contribute their time and
\ntalents to supporting and sustaining the club. We are having an open
\ninvitation to attend an informational meeting about becoming a mentor for a
\nFIRST Robotics team in the Sheboygan County area. Teams are currently
\nlooking for mentors to help guide students and support team activities
\nduring this year\u2019s competition season. FIRST Robotics Competition is an
\ninternational high school robotics competition. Each year, teams of high
\nschool students, coaches, and mentors work during a six-week period to
\nbuild game-playing robots that weigh up to 120 pounds. We are looking for
\npeople who are willing to volunteer their time, knowledge and experience to
\nbetter not only the team but also students as they endeavor to build the
\nbest robot they can and become something bigger than themselves. This can
\nbe a great opportunity to spend and share formative learning and maturing
\ntime with your student. For more information, please attend the
\ninformational meeting.<\/p>\n
