*Connections Mentor Applications* are due in the counseling office by Monday,
\nApril 16. This is the ideal opportunity to work with others, give back to
\nyour school, and develop leadership qualities. Applications are in the

*Close Up Club students* going to Madison this Friday, meet in the gym
\nlobby by 7:40. We will be returning to school at approx. 3:00. You will
\nneed money for lunch. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress
\nappropriately. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Hackbarth or Mrs.

*The Java Roost* would like to update you on what is going on with the shop
\nboth inside and out. We have implemented new things this year such as a
\nbi-weekly estimation jar for a chance to win a free drink along with the
\ncontents of the jar. We have also started to sell different quick breads
\nmade by Gio L. We have many drinks from hot and cold so stop by and give
\nthem a try. If anyone is interested in working in the Java Roost next year,
\nplease reach out to Ryanna K or stop on down. We are open before school,
\n1st and 2nd hours, Friday enhancements, and after school on Tuesdays and
\nThursdays.<\/p>\n
*Robotics students* reminder this Thursday April 12th from 6:00 pm to 7:30
\npm is our mandatory wrap up meeting. Please be in attendance! Any

\nvolunteers are needed. The tree planting will be Saturday, April 28th at
\n7:30am. This is a great volunteer opportunity and a way to help the
\ncommunity\/environment. For further information please talk to Ms. Jarosch

\nApril 16th at 6:30. The cost is $6 per team and teams can sign up in Mr.
\nConklin’s room until Friday, April 13th. Prizes will be awarded to the
\nwinning team as well as the team with the best costumes.<\/p>\n
