sharing a monetary donation in the office to the “ Go Jo” cause.

The School Board, along with our Superintendent, Mrs. Born, has proclaimed
the start to American Education Week. This week has been celebrated the
week prior to Thanksgiving week since 1921 “…for the purpose of informing
the public of the accomplishments and needs of the public schools and to
secure the cooperation and support of the public in meeting those needs.”

There are several ways students can get involved this week:

Tuesday – ask the staff about the academic gear they are wearing

Wednesday – wear green to show your support for our education support
professionals

Thursday – wear purple and gold to show your pride in Falcon education;
write a thank you letter to educators who have made a difference to
you–the letters can be dropped off in the office for delivery

Friday – wear orange for Josiah!

*GO JO DAY*

Dear Sheboygan Falls Staff & Students,
As some of you may or may not know, one of our 4K friends has recently been
diagnosed with Leukemia. This is a wonderful family, who has already been
through so much with our little friend.
We would like to have a GO JO DAY on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 21st to show Jo and
his family our support! We invite the students and staff of the Sheboygan
Falls School District to join in our Go Jo Day by wearing orange in support
of him. We are also asking for a small monetary donation if you would like
to wear orange on this particular day. This is a SURPRISE! We will be
collecting the money and presenting it to his family before the holidays,
to make this time of year a little easier financially for them! Please
bring all donations to the office by 2:30 on Friday. Let’s show them that
the Sheboygan Falls School District family is behind them! GO JO!!! Thank
you in advance,
The 4K Staff

*Wellness Tip*

Thursday, November 20 is the Great American Smoke-Out. Your school nurses
want you to make the commitment to be a non-smoker. About half of all
Americans who keep smoking will die because of the habit. Smoking
cigarettes kills more Americans than alcohol, car accidents, suicide, AIDS,
homicide, and illegal drugs combined!
