*“A” Day*

*MAP TESTING IN THE LIBRARY – begins this week. There will be testing
Thursday and Friday 1st and 2nd hours. Please refrain from printing to the
library during those times. Thank you.*

It’s the beginning of another amazing school year of *ART CLASS*! Please
follow our district’s Art program on *Instagram* @fallvisualarts or
*Twitter* @fallsart and keep updated on classroom happenings, news
tidbits, and student artwork.

*Reminder for parent drop off and pick-up:* The drop off/ pick-up is on
School Street. Please make sure to NOT stop in the orange cone are or block
the parking lot. Reminder, it is very crowded.

The Lakeshore Youth Chorale auditions are being held on Tuesday, September 8
from 5-7 pm and Saturday, September 12

from 9-11 am. If you are interested contact Heather Hammond – 920-918-5126.

*From the Library* – *Just a couple reminders *- NOOKS are available in the
library for you to check out. Stop in to pick up a permission slip which
must be signed by a parent. Also, if you ever put books on hold – your
name will be on the whiteboard right outside the library door. If you see
your name on the whiteboard – please stop in. One more reminder – anytime
you come to the library during school hours, you will need a pass. If you
stop in before OR after school you will not need a pass. Thank You.

*Ongoing road construction in Sheboygan Falls: Monroe Street will be
closed between Broadway and Buffalo Street. Please plan accordingly.*
Parents, as you know downtown falls is under construction and will be for
some time. Please allow extra time for travel to and from school and be
patient with other motorists like bus drivers and bike riders. ~Thank you

The *Lego League *season is starting up again! An informational meeting
for anyone new to Lego League will take place on Tuesday, September 8th at
6:00 in room 301. Anyone interested in joining (whether you are brand new
or a returning member) must fill out and turn in an application to Ms.
Galica in room 301 by Friday, September 11th

*Boys Basketball Info:*

7th grade A coach is Mr. Pfister

7th grade B coach is Mr. Pfister

8th grade A coach is Mr. Schuren

8th grade B coach is Mr. Bohman

Boys Basketball starts end of October/ beginning of November ~ as it
quickly approaches please make sure your child has all fees and paperwork
completed. If you are unsure if your child’s forms are all in send an
e-mail to Katie Miller at [email protected] to verify all
forms are complete.

*Presto Show Choir*

Attention Girls 6th-8th grade who are interested in singing and dancing.
If you are interested in being in the Presto Show Choir, please come to our
first rehearsal on September 18th at 7:15 am in Mrs. Charbonneau’s room.
Please meet at door 12 in back and we will walk in together. Thanks, Mrs.
Charbonneau

*Student Council*

Do you like being involved in school activities, being a leader, getting
together with friends? Then *Student Council* is for you! Student Council
applications will be distributed in Falcon Time on Wednesday and are
available on the Student Council bulletin board across from the library.
Completed applications should be returned to Mrs. Powers in room 206 by Friday,
Sept. 11. Student Council will meet the first and third Mondays of the
month, with our first meeting being Monday, Sept. 21.

*Homecoming:*

Sheboygan Falls Athletic Booster Club will be selling the Homecoming
trinkets again this year on Thursday, September 17th & Friday, September
18th during the school lunch hours. Varsity Game Friday @ 7pm.
