Students and Staff please share appreciations with each of our lunch

Next week is National School Lunch Week.
Trivia on what this is: Created by President John F. Kennedy in 1962,
National School Lunch Week (NSLW) is a weeklong celebration of the school
lunch program. SNA members celebrate in their cafeterias every year with
decorations, special menus, events, and more.
If you are eating with us this week, we will have special things to hand
out during the week.

The School District of Sheboygan Falls will be participating in Bully
Prevention Awareness Month in October. At the middle school, teachers will
be conducting anti-bullying conversations and activities in their
classes. Every
day in October, we will include a quote encouraging students to be
accepting and kind to others in an effort to make Falls a safer, more
welcoming community for all. On Wednesdays in October, teachers will wear
black to represent a “blacking out” of bullying from our schools. Students
will have the opportunity to dress in black or to participate in the
Wednesday dress theme. Parents, please join us in celebrating Bully
Prevention Awareness month by encouraging your children to follow the
Falcon Way by being respectful and accepting of everyone!
Wednesday Oct. 14th: No Sweat, We Support Each Other (wear sweatpants &
sweatshirts)
Wednesday Oct. 21st: Be a Team Player by Being Kind to Everybody (wear your

*From the Nurse: *Secondhand smoke harms children and adults. Parents can
take steps to protect their family from secondhand smoke by making their
homes and vehicles smoke free. Separating smokers from nonsmokers, opening
windows, or using air filters does not prevent people from breathing
secondhand smoke.
Parents are encouraged to check out the October edition of the Tidbit Times
