*“A” Day*

Harmann Studios will be here to take Volleyball and Cross Country
pictures on Friday, October 16th right after school.

Tomorrow is our 2nd Wednesday dress-up day for National Bully Awareness
Month. The theme is “No Sweat, We Support One Another”. To celebrate the
supportive nature of our safe and welcoming school, we are encouraging
students to wear sweatpants and sweatshirts to show how easy it is for us
to be accepting and respectful of one another…it’s truly ‘no sweat’ to be
kind! Staff are encouraged to wear their black anti-bully t-shirts, dress
in black and/or join the students in wearing sweats! Students, if you’d
prefer to wear black too, please do. Thank you to everybody for keeping
our school safe and welcoming for all!!

We are looking to borrow 10 or more rubric cubes for a potential veterans
day presentation. If anyone has one or more we could use until
mid-November, please give them to either Ms. Samse or Mr. Shircel. Thank
you.

The first yearbook meeting will be Monday, October 26th from 3:15-4:15 in
room 211 (Miss Zimmer’s room). Hope to see you all there!!! Meetings will
be every second and fourth Monday of the month.

Magic Variety Show passes (FREE under 14yrs.) are in the MS office. The
show is at Riverview Middle School in Plymouth on Tuesday, October 20th.

October 12-16 is National School Lunch week.

Students and Staff please share appreciations with each of our lunch
employees.

Trivia: Created by President John F. Kennedy in 1962, National School Lunch
Week (NSLW) is a weeklong celebration of the school lunch program. SNA
members celebrate in their cafeterias every year with decorations, special
menus, events, and more.

If you are eating with us this week, we will have special things to hand
out during the week.

The kitchen may want to take your picture, so be smiling!

Due to open spots this year on the Sheboygan Falls Middle School Dance
Team, we are opening it up and allowing 6th grade students to participate
in dance! There will be a parent mtg in the gym lobby Tuesday, October 13th
at 5pm.

*Boys Basketball Players:* The start of your season is rapidly
approaching. Please sign up in the MS office and make sure all of your
paperwork is in order before the first day of practice, Monday October 26th

great season! Coaches Pfister, Bohman, and Schuren

The School District of Sheboygan Falls will be participating in Bully
Prevention Awareness Month in October. At the middle school, teachers will
be conducting anti-bullying conversations and activities in their
classes. Every
day in October, we will include a quote encouraging students to be
accepting and kind to others in an effort to make Falls a safer, more
welcoming community for all. On Wednesdays in October, teachers will wear
black to represent a “blacking out” of bullying from our schools. Students
will have the opportunity to dress in black or to participate in the
Wednesday dress theme. Parents, please join us in celebrating Bully
Prevention Awareness month by encouraging your children to follow the
Falcon Way by being respectful and accepting of everyone!

*From the Nurse: *October is “National Protect Your Hearing Month.”
Noise-induced hearing loss is cumulative, invisible, and permanent. That
means it gets worse over time and cannot be cured. You may not even notice
that it is happening. The good news is that noise-induced hearing loss is
100% preventable. If your ear buds prevent you from hearing what’s going
on around you, the volume is too loud! Turn down the sound!

Parents are encouraged to check out the October edition of the Tidbit Times
at
