it back ASAP and give to Mrs. Fischer. We especially could use some
examples of: leaf bowls from the fall 6th grade art class, leaf dishes from
5th grade, and some of the ceramic hearts from 5th grade. You can also
bring in your best drawings, sketches, or paintings you may have made at
home in your free time.

Music In Our Schools Month® or “MIOSM®” is the National Association for
Music Education’s

Annual celebration during March which engages music educators, students,
and communities from around the country in promoting the benefits of high
quality music education programs in schools.

Music In Our Schools Month® began as a single statewide Advocacy Day and
celebration in New York in 1973 and grew over the decades to become a
month-long celebration of school music in 1985.

To show our support we will feature a music “quote of the day” in the daily
announcements. We also encourage students to wear shirts that promote
music. “Music Mondays” will be our big day but feel free to show your
support for music any/all days of the week.

“Music can change the world because it can change people.”
