Sheboygan County is in the process of updating its public safety radio
system. The new system testing includes conducting reception and
transmission tests inside of buildings throughout the county.

Sheboygan Falls Middle School will be a test site during the week of
September 19. The test will only last 15-25 minutes and will not interrupt
classes. There will, however, be Sheriff’s Department vehicles and other
response teams present at our campus. We want to share this information in
advance so their presence does not cause alarm to our students or families.

Mrs. Charbonneau will be starting clubs next week during recess. Students
will need to get a pass and then they can come and participate in the
clubs. They are:

Monday – Drums

Tuesday – Bells

Wednesday – Keyboards

Thursday – Guitar/Uke

Friday – Recorder

*A list of Student Council members *is on the Student Council bulletin
board across from the library. If you turned in an application, please
check to be sure your name is on the list. Our first meeting is tonight after
school, from 3:15-3:45 in room 114 (in the science hall by the cafeteria).

Attention Students and Parents interested in Lego League,

Please know that despite our best efforts, we have yet to find an advisor
to run the club this school year. Mr. Hughes is making a few more
contacts, but nothing is certain. However, we do have a parent willing to
take on the role. But, she works full time and could only hold meetings
from 5-7pm during the week. If your child has participated in the past, or
was interested in trying out this year, please email Katie Miller if these
times would work for your family this season. We need your feedback please
by 4pm on Monday, September 19th.

Thank you,

Ms. Markofski

It’s time for our first ‘Lunch & Crunch’…Developing Good Study Habits!
During this L&C, students will watch a video that highlights several study
skills. The video begins by explaining several critical in-class skills and
then moves on to discuss successful techniques for studying at home.
Students will receive a few handouts detailing the study habits they
learned from the video. If you are interested in participating in this L&C,
please let Mr. Uselding know by the end of the day on Friday, September 16.
The Developing Good Study Skills L&C will be held during your lunch and
recess period on Thursday, September 22, in Room 121. Quickly get your
lunch (whether you eat first or second) and come right to Room 121 since we
only have 30 minutes. Thank you!

Applications for joining the yearbook staff are now available!
Applications are located in the MS office. Return the completed application
(parent signature is required) to the box to the right behind the chairs
when you walk in the office no later than Friday, Sept. 30.

Meetings will be the second and fourth Monday after school each month.
