grandparents, and high school students who helped to create costumes, dress
cast members, and keep things organized and in good repair during our run

a short time without you. Also, thank you to all the cast members for their
very kind words and gifts of appreciation! You are all AMAZING!
Mrs. Charbonneau and Mrs. Fischer wish to thank EVERYONE who helped made
our spring musical a great success over the weekend. Our talented and
dedicated cast, middle school staff members who helped, our parent (and

Also kudos to our students for being a great audience on
Thursday and Friday afternoon. Mrs. Fischer also thanks the kitchen staff
for the help with working around our Art Exhibit on Friday, JR for setting
up the tables, and all my students and parents who helped hang the show,
set it up, and take it down this morning.

*Health Tip*
Junk Food
You probably know that soda, chips, and candy are not that good for you,
but it may be worse than you thought. Recent research has found that kids
and teens that regularly eat junk food have lower IQ scores than those who
don’t. So next time you reach for a bag of chips or a soda grab and apple
or banana, and a glass of water or milk instead. Your body will thank you
in the future.
Benefits of Recess:
-Increase their level of physical activity
-Improve their memory, attention, and concentration
-Helping them stay on task in the classroom
-Reduces disruptive behavior in the classroom
-Improves social and emotional development
