Don’t forget to wear black tomorrow as we continue to “Black Out Bullying”
from our school and community. Because of the overwhelming support of our
bully awareness efforts during the month of October from students, staff
and administration, we are going to continue our “Black Out Wednesdays” for
the entire school year! So continue to wear black on Wednesdays to show
your support against bullying behaviors!

*The first dance of the school year is coming up* on Friday, November 7
from 3:15-5:15. The theme for the dance is “masquerade.” Students will
need $1 admission and a signed permission slip to enter the dance.
Permission slips will be handed out in your Wed. falcon time this week.
Then tickets (or wristbands) will be sold at lunch next week Wed., Thurs.,
and Friday, and on Friday afternoon before the dance. DJ Kurty K will once
again be spinning records for us and there will be a photo booth and
concessions, including pizza, soda, candy, and ice cream..
*Wellness Tip*
Candy – Everybody love it. But too much candy can be a bad thing. The
sugar in candy leads to cavities, weight gain, and recent studies link
sugar intake to heart disease.
So, when you get home after your trick-or-treat marathon consider sharing
some of that candy with the troops stationed overseas. Candy will be
collected at the elementary and middle school the week of November 2.
Bring all or part of your candy to the office.
Thanks for taking part in Operation Gratitude!
