At every middle school basketball game this year, Student Council will be
selling concessions. Pizza and water will be available right after school,
and candy and soda will be sold starting at 3:45. Prices range from
$1.00-$1.50.

8th Grade Trumpet Reminder: If you are interested in learning Echo Taps
please plan to attend the session scheduled for Tuesday, November 4th from
3:15-3:45 p.m. in the MS Band Room.

*The office has given the needed forms to the students to take home and
bring back signed. If you are in need of another form, please stop in the
office.*

Starting in November on Tuesdays anyone can purchase a cookie for $0.50.
You must be positive to use your account. Make sure your parents know
you’re purchasing Ala Carte. Free and reduced may purchase but there is a
charge. Same as the ice Cream sales. Cold lunch students may also purchase
them. New salad starting Monday – Chef salad.

First Pizza Hut Pizza lunch is Nov.5th and then again on Nov. 19th.

*Save the Date: *The SFHS Dance Team will be holding their second youth
clinic on January 8th, 2015. Dancers in grades 1-8 will learn a new routine
with the varsity team and perform at the home basketball game! More info at
a later date.

*7th & 8th Grade Dismissal:* On Wednesday, November 5th they will be
dismissed from the HS at 2:10. They will be there prior for a “Drug
Prevention” seminar.

*JOIN THE MS FORENSICS TEAM, Open to grades 5 through 8! *Are you
interested in being part of the SFMS Forensics Team for the 2014/2015
school-year? Join this club where you and your friends present your
recitation, acting, and interpretation skills to an audience. You and your
friends will select a piece to *present* in one of the following
categories; Poetry, Prose, Readers Theater (with 3 to 5 students), Solo or
Duet Acting, Storytelling, or Demonstration. The team will meet during
after-school hours and individual practice times will be available for you
to sign up for during recess periods or during after school hours. Pick up
a info/permission slip on the ACTION Room bulletin board and return it at
our first meeting, on *Tuesday, November 4th from 3:15-4:15PM in the ACTION
ROOM!*

*Edible Engineering!* It’s that time of year again… time to form teams
to design and build an edible structure, for possible inclusion in the *Great
Gingerbread Village Contest* at the Waelderhaus in Kohler. This opportunity
is open to students in grades 5 through 8, and requires teams of 3 to 5
students. Teams will meet during lunch/recess periods and some after-school
hours in the ACTION Room to create their edible structure. If this sounds
interesting to you, pick up

​an information form and permission slips from the ACTION Room bulletin
board ASAP. Stop in to see Mrs. Fiorini with questions anytime. Grade 6 and
7 teams begin building onThursday, Nov. 6th and Grade 5 and 8 teams begin
on Friday, Nov. 14th. DON”T MISS OUT!!!​

Rec Department to Offer Art Classes for kids/families

The Rec Department is partnering with Store Front Gallery & Studio in
downtown Sheboygan Falls to offer an art workshop designed for families and
kids on November 15th. All the details and the registration form can be

If anybody else wants to sign up for an interaction group with Mr. U, you
can still do so. Find the sign-up sheet on his website or get one from the

Come to MS office to pick up forms for camp

*The first dance of the school year is coming up* on Friday, November 7
from 3:15-5:15. The theme for the dance is “masquerade.” Students will
need $1 admission and a signed permission slip to enter the dance.
Permission slips will be handed out in your Wed. falcon time this week.
Then tickets (or wristbands) will be sold at lunch next week Wed., Thurs.,
and Friday, and on Friday afternoon before the dance. DJ Kurty K will once
again be spinning records for us and there will be a photo booth and
concessions, including pizza, soda, candy, and ice cream..

*Wellness Tip*

Before you start munching on that Halloween candy or a snack, ask yourself
what’s in the food you’ve chosen. If it is loaded with sugar think again.
Certain kinds of sweets can do more damage than others. Gooey or chewy
sweets spend more time sticking to the surface of your teeth and give your
teeth a longer sugar bath. Brush Brush Brush!

Halloween candy for Operation Gratitude can be dropped off at the
elementary or middle school office through Friday.
