*“B” Day*

Mrs. Charbonneau and Mrs. Fiorini are offering an Arts Enrichment
Opportunity to Sheboygan Falls Middle School students. On Thursday,
December 17th, 2014, we will travel by bus to the Marcus Center for the
Performing Arts in Milwaukee to attend *Milwaukee Ballet’s THE NUTCRACKER*!!
Participating students will report to the auditorium at 9:15AM on
Thursday, December 17th for a departure from school at 9:30AM sharp! We
will travel by bus from the middle school to downtown Milwaukee. We will
return to the middle school at approximately 2:45PM, at which time the
students will report to their scheduled class period. Students are to *pack
a bag lunch and beverage LABELED with their name* for this field trip, as
we will be eating in the Marcus lunchroom immediately after the
performance, before returning to school. Purchasing a school bag lunch is
also an option. Go to the MS website to print an order form or request one
from Mrs. Charbonneau or Mrs. Fiorini. Orders must be placed no later than
December 3rd. The Music Department, through the recent fundraising event,
is *generously* contributing to the cost of attendance and asking that the
student contribute just *$5.00!! Checks should be made payable to SFMS*
and returned with the permission slip. *We are limited in the number of
student tickets reserved for this performance. * If interested in
attending, return your permission slip to Mrs. Fiorini or Mrs. Charbonneau *no
later than Friday. November 20th *to reserve your seat.

Harmann Studios will be here on Monday, November 16th right after school to
take 7th and 8th grade boys basketball pictures and also dance team
pictures. Thank you and sorry for the short notice.

The yearbook meeting for Monday, November 23rd is cancelled due to the 8th
grade basketball game. Our next meeting will be Monday, December 14th from
3:15-4:15. Thank you!

Volleyball and Cross country pictures are in the office for pick up.

If anyone from the dance clinic that the HS offered, ordered pictures you
can come pick them up in the MS office.

*EDIBLE ENGINEERING-Gingerbread House Building!* If you are interested in
participating as part of a team in designing a “gingerbread” structure, for
possible inclusion in the *Great Gingerbread Village* *Holiday Festival*,
held at the Waelderhaus in Kohler, listen carefully. There will be an
informational meetings held in the ACTION Room this week, with “building”
in the ACTION Room beginning the week of November 16th..

Grades 7 & 8- Friday, November 13th during recess time

The Lego League will have its Regional Competition this Saturday, November
14 at LTC from 8:00-5:00. Please stop down and give your team some support!

Hello Sheboygan Falls Falcons!

The Falcon Way is excited to announce our 3rd annual *MOVIE NIGHT!* Some
of you have been asking questions already so here are the answers to them
all!

*What movie will be showing?* Inside Out

*What time does the movie start and end?* 3:30-5:00

*Where is the movie?* In the middle school auditorium

*Do I need my parents’ permission? * YES! Permission slips will be
available starting today in the office. They can be turned in at the same
location. NO ONE will be allowed to ‘hang out’ during movie night if they
have not made arrangements with their parents.

*Will there be concessions served?* YES! The student council will be
selling delicious treats for a small fee throughout the event! The profits
from the sales go directly to the Falcon Way prize Box!

*So why are we having a movie night?* Movie night is a way for ALL of us
to kick back, relax, and enjoy time with our friends and family! YES –
Family is invited too!

*So when exactly is movie night?* Movie night is Friday, November 13th.

Now is the time to get your falcon gear. All items are on display in the
middle school office for your convenience. Remember a portion of the
proceeds come back to our school. Order forms are available in the office
and are due by Friday, November 13th. If you have any questions please let
us know.

How many adult smokers wish they had never started? Probably most. Most
adult cigarette smokers start before the age of 18 years and make many
unsuccessful attempts to quit. The use of tobacco in any form by students
is unsafe. Don’t be a statistic! Just don’t start!
