The 8th grade Art field trip to the Milwaukee Art Museum has been cancelled
due to the weather forecast tomorrow. We will work on rescheduling for

*SCRIPPS NATIONAL SPELLING BEE, REGIONAL COMPETITION~* Good luck to SFMS’s
representative Katie Holzer who will compete at ACUITY tonight, beginning
at 6:00PM.
*NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC GRADE & SHOOL LEVEL BEES* take place this week! Good
luck to all contestants!
*LION KING KIDS CAST MEMBERS* are invited to pick up their lunch and bring
it to the ACTION Room on either Mon. Tues., or Weds this week. We’ll watch
the video for costume design inspiration while we eat our lunch.
Reminder: Paige G. and Liberty O. are scheduled to work at concessions
on Tuesday, February 2.
The next yearbook meeting will be Monday, February 15th from 2:15 until 4:00

ATTENTION ALL LEGO LEAGUE TEAM MEMBERS: We will be having our final party on
Thursday, February 4th after school in Ms. Galica’s room. Please wear
your team t-shirt to the party!
Student Council is hosting a food drive to benefit the Sheboygan Falls Food
Pantry. Students are encouraged to bring in food items and household
supplies every Wednesday starting January 27 and ending February 24. Bring
your donations to the lunch room with you. A Student Council rep will give
you a ticket for each item you bring in. Put your name on each ticket and
place it in the bin that will be in the lunch room. The 3 students who
have donated the most items will choose a $10 gift card from iTunes,
Walmart, Target, or Game Stop. The winner of the remaining gift card will
be drawn from the tickets in the bin. Please follow this schedule for
donations, and *please do not bring in expired items*.
Wednesdays:
February 3 boxed goods (Mac N Cheese, Hamburger
Helper, etc.)
February 10 paper products (toilet paper, paper
plates, etc.)
February 17 any of the above, or other household
items (cleaning supplies, etc.)

so! January 31st is the last day to buy the yearbook for a discounted
price. After that, they will go up from $22 to $27. If you would like to

Everyone loves an after school snack. Research has shown that kids often
choose easy to grab, high fat and sugar snacks. Be mindful of what you are
eating and reward yourself with a healthy, but tasty snack: fruit, veggies,
yogurt, or even a PBJ sandwich. Just think to yourself, “Would the school
nurse give this to me?”
