*“Bagging for Bucks” & Brat Fry*
Staff and School Board members from the Sheboygan Falls School
District will be “Bagging for Bucks” at Blattner’s Piggly Wiggly.
Blattner’s will donate 10% of their sales on Saturday, May 7 from 10-3 to
this initiative to purchase lifesaving equipment for fire fighting and
training.
*MEETING – Attention: * 8th grade girls interested in playing high school
volleyball next year. Please meet Coach Miota in the gym lobby on *Monday,
May 9th* during lunch recess (11:36 – 11:51) if you are interested in
signing up for a summer volleyball league. She will take your name, cell
phone number, and answer any questions you may have. Varsity Coach Widder
will be providing additional information in the next few weeks. (by steps)
8th Grade boys interested in playing HS soccer, there will be a meeting on
Monday, May 9th in the gym lobby during recess (11:36-11:51). (by
concession stand)
Tuesday May 10th, the Girls HS soccer coach will be meeting any 8th grade
girls interested in HS soccer in the gym lobby during recess. ( 11:36-11:51)
Tuesday May 10th there will be some HS FFA leaders come and talk to the 8th
graders that are interested in joining HS FFA. They will meet Tuesday in
the MS auditorium at 11:36-11:51.
8th graders that are signed up for summer PE or who would still like to
sign up please meet with Mr. Goral in the auditorium on Thursday, May 12th
during recess time (11:36-11:51) for information on summer PE.
Lost & Found is all laid out on tables for the last time this year.
Everything will be donated the last week of school if not claimed.
*It’s dance time again!* Student Council is sponsoring a dance for all
middle school students on Friday, May 13, from 3:15-4:45. The theme is
“Neon/Glow,” so you are encouraged to dress accordingly. DJ Kurty Kurt
will once again be spinning records for us and there will be pizza, ice
cream, candy, and soda for sale at the event. There will also be glow
bracelets and a photo booth. Students will need a signed permission slip
to attend the dance. Permission slips will be handed out in your
classroom, but extra copies are available on the Student Council bulletin
board outside of the library. Wristbands to get into the dance will be for
sale on Wed., May 11, Thurs., May 12, and Friday, May 13. They will also
be on sale right before the dance that Friday afternoon.
*Mrs. Fiorini’s ECO NATURE CLUB and Mrs. Charbonneau’s Falcon Time group
NEED YOUR HELP! *They are collecting empty, clean personal size water
bottles. We are building a greenhouse out of recycled materials. Bring
your water bottles to your Wednesday Falcon Time room between now and Friday,
May 13th. The Falcon Time group who collects the most bottles will be
awarded an ice cream party!

the last submission, before this program ends.
Box tops should be submitted by 5/11/16, otherwise save them until next

The nurse’s office is short on ice packs. Please check your locker,
backpack and desk for ice bags and bring them to the health room. Thanks!

April 30th is Noise Awareness Day. Hearing loss doesn’t just occur in old
age! Here are 3 tips to protect your hearing:
1. Avoid or limit exposure to loud sounds.
2. Use hearing protection when it’s not possible to avoid loud noises.
3. Turn down the music volume! If you’re wearing ear buds and someone
can hear your music from 3 feet away, it’s too loud!
