*Health Tip*

Junk Food

You probably know that soda, chips, and candy are not that good for you,
but it may be worse than you thought. Recent research has found that kids
and teens that regularly eat junk food have lower IQ scores than those who
don’t. So next time you reach for a bag of chips or a soda grab and apple
or banana, and a glass of water or milk instead. Your body will thank you
in the future.

Benefits of Recess:

-Increase their level of physical activity

-Improve their memory, attention, and concentration

-Helping them stay on task in the classroom

-Reduces disruptive behavior in the classroom

-Improves social and emotional development
