*“A” Day*
*First Day of school: *Grades 5-8 are all meeting on the playground in the
morning. Wear purple & gold and show school spirit! Let’s make this a
memorable “last”, first day of “Great things to come!” Next year we will be
at the new MS !!!
1st volleyball practice for 7th & 8th grade starts September 5th from
3:30-5:30pm. Please make sure to have all athletic forms and fees turned in
before practice.
*First Lego League Robotics and Research team announcement*
Does helping to find a solution to a real-world problem sound interesting?
Would you like to work with your friends and classmates to research, share
and present your solution to this problem? Does the idea of using Legos to
build and program a robot to move, grab, push, pull or carry things on a
game board sounds like fun? If so, then *First Lego League Robotics and
Research* team is for you!
This year, there will be two teams, new faces to help coach and mentor the
teams, including a high school senior who was part of the RedRaider
Robotics team that competed in the FIRST Robotics world competition in St.
Louis last April!
Please turn in your application to the office by the end of the day,
Thursday, September 14th. The members of the teams will be announced on
Monday, September 18th. Good luck!
7th & 8th Grade Volleyball Parents meeting: Sept. 7th at 5:15pm in the MS
gym
Cross Country meet @ Mayville Thursday, September 7th Students dismiss at
2:00 and bus departs at 2:05pm. Bus will be picking kids up in front of
school.
