*“A” Day*
In honor of National Arts in Education Week, here are some fun facts of the
day! Did you know that in a recent survey, 72% of business leaders said
that CREATIVITY was a skill that they were looking for with potential
employees?! Innovation, creative problem-solving, and thinking outside
the box are all part of creativity that we use in art classes. Music
education prepares students to learn. Music education readies students for
learning by helping to develop their basic mental skills and capacities.
Music instruction impacts learning by enhancing fine motor skills,
preparing the brain for achievement, fostering superior working memory, and
cultivating better thinking skills.
Please help us celebrate “National Arts in Education Week” September 11-15!
We are all positively impacted by having art, music, and theater at our
school! Show your support by wearing an art, dance, theater, or
music-themed t-shirt on Thursday, Sept. 14th. ~Thank you, Mrs. Fischer,
Mrs. Winkler, Mrs. Charbonneau, Mrs. Stowers
