*Student Council Members – *Our next meeting is Monday, October 23, from
3:15-4:00 in room 114 (CAPSS room). If you missed the first meeting,
please stop in Mrs. Powers’ room 206 and pick up an informational packet.
YEARBOOK STAFF MEETING TODAY, 3:15 to 4:15, in room 211.
*Aquatic Center Open Extended Hours Friday, October 20th*
The SF Aquatic Center will be open extended hours (1:30-3:30pm) for Open
Swim on Friday, October 20th. Free admission for all pass members and just
$3 for SF resident children!
*Salvation Army Christmas Blessings Assistance Program.* Intake dates this
year are Thursday, October 19, from 2:00-6:00 PM; Thursday, November 9,
from 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM; Thursday November 30, from 2:00-5:00 PM. Gift pick
up will take place on Thursday, December 14 and on Thursday, December 21.
You will need to bring proof of residence, proof of income and
establishment as a member of the household with you on the intake day.

*Salvation Army Winter Coat Program.* Coat distribution this year we be
held at the Salvation Army on Thursday, October 26, from 1:00-6:00 PM.

The Falcon Way is joining with the Student Council for our 5th Annual
Family Movie Night. This year’s featured movie is Finding Dory. The move
night is Friday, October 27th from 3:30-5:00. There is no admission fee.
The featured movie will be given away at the end of the event. All you
need to do is enter at least one Falcon Feather to participate. You may
enter more than one feather. The student council will be selling snacks
throughout the movie. Parents and siblings of Sheboygan Falls Middle
School students are welcome to attend. Permission slips are available in
the office or by the Falcon Way prize box. Permission slips can be turned
in, in the office or the night of the movie. Hope to see you for a night
of fun!
Attention all students who signed up for FBLA. We will have a brief,
organizational meeting on Tuesday, October 17th at 7:30 in Ms. Probst’s
room- 204. At that time, we will determine future meeting dates, etc.

Sheboygan Knights of Columbus in Sheboygan on Wed, October 18th at 6:30 pm
is hosting a magic show. There are free passes in the MS office.
7th and 8th grade ladies who would like to be part of the dance team,
please sign-up in the MS office. The season runs from October 23-December 21.
This is after volleyball and before girls basketball starts! Please
remember to take care of all forms and fees with the office before October
23rd! Parent meeting October 17th @ 5:15pm in the MS gym lobby.

Any 7th and 8th grade boy interested in playing basketball for the school
team needs to sign up and get the necessary paperwork in the office. The
first day of practice is October 23rd in which all necessary forms need to
be turned to be able to practice. There will be a parents meeting on October
17th at 5:00pm in the gym to cover expectations and schedules. If there are
any questions, please contact Katie Miller in the office or any of the
coaches: Coach Pfister 7th grade, Coach Berg 8th grade, and Coach Schuren
8th grade.

*Health Tip*
Handwashing when done correctly, is the single most effective way to
prevent the spread of infections,illness, and diseases. Follow these simple
steps to ensure clean hands:
1. Wet your hands with warm water
2. Add soap and rub your hands together for at least 20 seconds. Don’t
forget in between your fingers
3. Rinse your hands well under warm water allowing water to run off into
the sink.
4. Dry your hands thoroughly with a clean towel.
