On June 1st all 8th grade students will be going to River Park during their
science class for our river testing data collection. We will leave
promptly at the start of class and return to the building by the end of the
hour. Our rain date will be June 2. Please contact Ms. Huenink with
questions [email protected]

Attention all athletes interested in participating in Cross Country next
fall. There will be an informational meeting next week Tuesday during your
lunch recess. Please meet in the gym lobby for a brief meeting on summer
running and items related to next fall season. There is also a sign-up
sheet in the office please stop in and sign up! Looking forward to seeing

Invite a few friends and come to the ACTION Room on

Weds. May 25th to eat lunch and play games of your choice, such as
Scrabble, Pictionary, Chess, Apples to Apples and many more! Pick up your
lunch at that start of the recess/lunch period, sign out of the cafeteria
and meet in Mrs. Fiorini’s room, #125.

Attention 7th grade girls: If you are interested in playing volleyball

cases. It’s not too late to register for June summer school. I will be
running two SmartBoard Nancy Drew classes again this year and there are
many other fun classes available. The course offerings and registration

entering 4th grade through 9th grade is *June 26**th** through June 29**th*.
Learn the fundamentals of shooting, dribbling, passing, scoring, and
playing defense from the Sheboygan Falls’ basketball coaching staff and
players. Camp forms are located in the office, you can pick one up from Mr.
Frohling at the middle school, or you can print a form from the rec

With the beginning of a new season, we are gearing up for our biggest and
brightest summer opportunity: 4-H Summer Camp. Our 4-H Summer Camp is an
excellent opportunity for families and youth to see what 4-H has to offer.
This year we will be holding our 4-H Summer Camp at Upham Woods in
Wisconsin Dells, WI starting on July 15th and ending on July 19th, 2017. Forms
can be picked up in the MS office.

Buckle up on every ride, in every vehicle, with every driver, It’s the law.

Children should ride in the back seat until they are at least 13 years old.

The driver should not be distracted- no holding a cell phone or texting.

Never ride in the bed of a pickup truck.

SFMS students raised a total of $1014.00 to help support finding a cure for
childhood cancer! YOU ARE AMAZING!! This brings the total funds raised by
SFMS students to $35,870.00 since 2003! CONGRATULATIONS to Mrs. Scharrer’s
Period 8/10 students! They had the most contributing participants and have
earned the POPCORN PARTY! * MANY, MANY THANKS TO ALL!*

The May concert is planned for May 15, 2017 at 7:00 pm in the High School
Auditorium. Students should plan to arrive at 6:30 pm, and 6th, 7th, and, 8

Boys: black dress pants, white dress shirt (short or long sleeves), black

*It’s dance time again! *Student Council is sponsoring a dance for all
middle school students on Friday, May 12. This dance will begin as a *Green
Day *Friday afternoon. Those students who have stayed above the line will
be able to attend the dance. Besides the dance, students may purchase
concessions and the photo booth will be available. Students will return to
their 10th hour class and anyone wishing to return to the dance after
school may do so if they have a wristband. Wristbands will be on sale at
lunch on Wed., May 10, Thurs., May 11, and Friday, May 12. They will also
be on sale right before the dance that Friday afternoon. To get a
wristband, students must have a signed permission slip and $1. Permission
slips will be handed out in your Wed. falcon time, but extra copies will be
available on the Student Council bulletin board across from the library.

The Falcon Way and Student Council is collaborating to bring to YOU a BONUS
Falcon Way Prize. YOU may enter your Falcon Feathers to win 2 slices of
pizza, 1 soda and 1 ice cream during the next dance on May 12th. One

Museum tomorrow, Friday May 12. Meet Mrs. Fischer in the auditorium at 8:15.

There will be a sign up sheet in the office for all eighth grade girls
interested in playing high school volleyball in the fall until next Wednesday,

and parent meeting at the end of May to get summer schedules.

*Summer Reading Skills – Online Programs*. Pick up an information sheet in
the library regarding reading programs for the summer! These online classes
range from 4-year-olds to students entering 6th – 8th grade. For more

The Ukulele club will be meeting the next Friday during recess in

*It’s up to you as Nancy Drew! * Come and have fun helping Nancy solve
cases. It’s not too late to register for June summer school. I will be
running two SmartBoard Nancy Drew classes again this year and there are
many other fun classes available. The course offerings and registration

*It’s dance time again! *Student Council is sponsoring a dance for all
middle school students on Friday, May 12. This dance will begin as a *Green
Day *Friday afternoon. Those students who have stayed above the line will
be able to attend the dance. Besides the dance, students may purchase
concessions and the photo booth will be available. Students will return to
their 10th hour class and anyone wishing to return to the dance after
school may do so if they have a wristband. Wristbands will be on sale at
lunch on Wed., May 10, Thurs., May 11, and Friday, May 12. They will also
be on sale right before the dance that Friday afternoon. To get a
wristband, students must have a signed permission slip and $1. Permission
slips will be handed out in your Wed. falcon time, but extra copies will be
available on the Student Council bulletin board across from the library.

The Falcon Way and Student Council is collaborating to bring to YOU a BONUS
Falcon Way Prize. YOU may enter your Falcon Feathers to win 2 slices of
pizza, 1 soda and 1 ice cream during the next dance on May 12th. One
winner will be selected from each grade level. All you need to do to win
is STAY ABOVE THE LINE and enter your Falcon Feathers in the BONUS PRIZE
BOX located next to the Falcon Way Prize Box by the recess doors. Keep

entering 4th grade through 9th grade is *June 26**th** through June 29**th*.
Learn the fundamentals of shooting, dribbling, passing, scoring, and
playing defense from the Sheboygan Falls’ basketball coaching staff and
players. Camp forms are located in the office, you can pick one up from Mr.

*ST. JUDE MATH-A-THON!*

Beginning Friday, May 5th,* s*tudents should return their pledge donations
in an envelope to our school office and Mrs. Fiorini. Please include the
student’s full name and grade level on the envelope. Funbooks *can be kept
by the student*. All donations must be returned no later than *Thursday,
May 11th*. *On* *Friday, May 12th,* the winner of the POPCORN party will be
announced. The math class with the most contributing (meaning submitting
some donation, whether $1.00 or $100.00) *students* will be selected the
winner! Students who earn additional prizes from St Jude’s will receive
those prizes closer to the end of the school year.
