Our Falcon Leaders Value this month is courage. Courage is being brave
\nenough to do what you should do, even when you are afraid. One type of
\ncourage is physical. This type of courage can be witnessed by those who
\nconquer their fears by zip lining or skydiving. What’s something that you
\nhad the courage to do, even when you were afraid?<\/p>\n

Have you heard about #Inktober? This is a daily drawing challenge in the
\nmonth of October. Each day there is a word that is given, and you may only
\nuse INK (pen, marker, fine point Sharpies, etc.) to illustrate your
\ninterpretation of that word. Search #Inktober on social media for
\nexamples!! Interested? See Mrs. Fischer for a sheet. If you
\nparticipate, show all 31 drawings to Mrs. Fischer after Halloween for a
\nsmall prize!<\/p>\n
**7th graders, there are Inktober prompts on your neighborhood bulletin
\nboard.<\/p>\n
If you signed up for Dance Team, our first practice is Monday, October 21
\nright after school until 4:15. Meet in Mrs. Cotter’s room (247) at the end
\nof the day in your workout clothes. Be sure to have all of your forms in
\nand fees paid before this day! Our parent meeting will be Thursday,
\nOctober 17 at 4:15 and should only take 15-20 minutes. This will be held in
\nMS Commons.<\/p>\n

Today is our 4th week of Bully Prevention Awareness Month. Our theme this
\nweek is \u201cAt Falls, Everyone Matters\u201d. The theme was chosen to emphasize how
\nimportant each and every one of us is here at Falls, in our community and
\nin the world. Life can be tough sometimes. We should be able to count on
\nour friends and our peers to support us and to be there for us. Thank you
\nto everybody that treats one another with respect and kindness that we all
\ndeserve. Together, we can continue to keep our school safe and welcoming
\nfor all! Don\u2019t forget to wear black on Wednesday to take a stand against

\nconcussion form, parent permission, and athletic fees) taken care of by Oct
\n28, the first day of practice. The optional parent meeting will also be
