Hoes and Support the Families<br \/>\nand Educator Unite. Take home your painting<\/p>\n<p>Time: 6pm-8pm<\/p>\n<p>Sign starts at 5:30pm, Class starts at 6pm<\/p>\n<p>Register by email: <a href=\"mailto:Kathy.presutti@live.com\">Kathy.presutti@live.com<\/a> only have 25 spots.<\/p>\n<p>Cost: $30 for one adult, $35 for one adult and one student.<\/p>\n<p>There will be an opportunity for Sheboygan Falls Middle School students to<br \/>\ngive back to our community by making blankets to honor Carter, Ben and<br \/>\nNatalie\u2019s memory. The blankets made, will be donated and given to children<br \/>\nwho are at Children\u2019s Hospital and family members staying at the Ronald<br \/>\nMcDonald House. To be involved, Mrs. Woodworth and Mrs. Miles will open up<br \/>\nthe FCE Room two days a week until the first week in December. At that<br \/>\ntime, we will collect the blankets and deliver them.<\/p>\n<p>Directions for making the blanket:<\/p>\n<p>You (or your group of students) will be individually responsible for the<br \/>\npurchase of the fleece material needed to make the blankets. The blankets<br \/>\nare seamless (without sewing) as you will be cutting and tying the ends of<br \/>\nthe blanket. The material should be the size of a twin size blanket, so<br \/>\npurchase 2 pieces that are 40&#215;80. One piece can be solid, the other print<br \/>\nof your choice. In addition, we are asking that you bring your own<br \/>\nscissors.<\/p>\n<p>We will have a space for you to store your materials in the FCE Room. We<br \/>\nwill be starting November 7 and plan to have November 14, 18, 20, 26 for<br \/>\nthe morning workdays in the FCE Room. If you have any other questions,<br \/>\nplease refer them to Mrs. Woodworth or Mrs. Miles.<\/p>\n<p>Attention all middle school students. The Student Support Team is hosting<br \/>\nour 7th Annual Family Movie Night, Friday, November 22nd from 3:30-5:00.<br \/>\nThe featured movie is The Lion King. This month The Falcon Leaders are<br \/>\nfocusing on Honor as a value of importance in our school community. Come<br \/>\nlearn more about honor and how Simba honors his father\u2019s legacy. Simba has<br \/>\na long journey ahead, but in the end learns that he must do what is right<br \/>\nand do what is best for his kingdom.<\/p>\n<p>Snacks will be sold for a small fee by the student council. The movie will<br \/>\nbe shown in the middle school commons area. There is NO fee to attend. You<br \/>\nwill need a permission slip to participate. Permission slips can be found<br \/>\nin your neighborhood or in the office. Please turn in permission slips to<br \/>\nyour Focus teacher or in the office no later than the day of the movie.<\/p>\n<p>The movie will be given away to one lucky student at the end of the night.<br \/>\nAll you need to do to participate is turn in your permission slip and show<br \/>\nup for Family Movie Night! Your family members are also invited to attend<br \/>\nwith you (this includes moms, dads, siblings, grandparents, etc\u2026.). Our<br \/>\ntheme this Week is \u201cGive Peace a Chance\u201d. The theme was chosen to show our<br \/>\npeaceful nature here at Falls. All month, we have emphasized how kind,<br \/>\ncompassionate and respectful we are here at our school. This fact is true<br \/>\nnot only this month, but throughout the year. We encourage you to keep up<br \/>\nyour commitment to peace in our school and community. Thank you to<br \/>\neverybody who shows your continued support of keeping Falls bully free and<br \/>\npeaceful! Together, we can continue to keep our school safe and welcoming<br \/>\nfor all! The vaccine is safe<br \/>\nand effective and can prevent long absences from school and work.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, there are steps the whole family can take to prevent and stop<br \/>\nthe spread of illness. These include:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Wash your hands often with soap and water, or use an<br \/>\nalcohol-based hand sanitizer.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Cover your cough or sneeze with your upper sleeve, and try to<br \/>\navoid touching your face with your hand.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 If you use a tissue, throw it away after one use.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Never share drinking cups, straws, and utensils.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 When possible, avoid being exposed to people who are sick with<br \/>\nflu-like symptoms.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Eat nutritious meals, get plenty of rest, and do not smoke.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Frequently clean commonly touched surfaces, like doorknobs, the<br \/>\nrefrigerator handles, your phone, and faucets.<\/p>\n<p>If your child shows signs of illness, such as a high fever, cough,<br \/>\nsneezing, or runny nose, please keep them home until 24 hours after the<br \/>\nsymptoms pass to prevent them from spreading illness to classmates and<br \/>\nstaff.
