\ntill the end of the school year. Free Breakfast – take it for a nutrition
\nbreak later or after school sports, and lunch is free also. If you’re cold

*It\u2019s time for Makerspace!* This year it might look a little different,
\nbut we will be creating all different things, using all different
\nsupplies! If you like crafts, projects, working with your hands, and
\nsimple circuits join us for Makerspace! We will meet in the lower falls
\noutside the Stem room on Mondays and Thursdays right after school until
\n4:15. Our first meeting is Monday, February 1 and we go until Thursday,
\nMarch 18.<\/p>\n

****Attention Singers****<\/p>\n

*Middle School Musical 2021*<\/p>\n

Yes, the show will go on! We are excited to announce that we will still be
\nperforming a musical this year but in a new, safe way. *The musical will be
\nprofessionally recorded at school and released as an online production. *The
\nstoryline features creative students who write whimsical, imaginative poems
\nbut one student is too nervous to create and share his poem. After
\nseemingly giving up all hope, the other students help him shed self-doubt
\nand encourage him to be brave and share his talents. Think of the great
\nthings that can happen when we encourage each other!<\/p>\n

The musical is *Could You Hug a Cactus?* Listen and check it out here

Students have the opportunity to audition for a solo role (singing and
\nspeaking parts) or be a part of the ensemble (large group singing only). To
\nensure safety, solo roles will be video and audio recorded individually at
\nschool with assistance. Virtual students have the option of auditioning for
\na solo role and recording themselves at home or coming to school to record
\nindividually after school hours. The ensemble will be video and audio
\nrecorded together socially distanced. The recordings will then be edited
\ntogether to create the entire production. If there are enough students
\ninterested, there is the potential for a double cast.<\/p>\n
