They won the Inspiration trophy for the being the most<br \/>\ninspirational team, not only to themselves but to every team competing.<br \/>\nOur team had a blast showing off what they learned and experiencing what<br \/>\nother teams had to share.  Please congratulate our Lego League team members<br \/>\nwhen you see them!  Our trophy and project presentation will be on display<br \/>\nin the library, be sure to stop down and check it out!<\/p>\n<p>Students are reminded to make Above the Line choices before school, during<br \/>\nlunch\/recess, and after school. Thank you, for only entering the building<br \/>\nwhen supervised.<\/p>\n<p>*Sheboygan Falls School District Celebrates American Education Week **November<br \/>\n17-21, 2014*<\/p>\n<p>Monday, November 17: Kick Off Day- This week has been celebrated the week<br \/>\nprior to Thanksgiving week since 1921 \u201c\u2026for the purpose of informing the<br \/>\npublic of the accomplishments and needs of the public schools and to secure<br \/>\nthe cooperation and support of the public in meeting those needs.\u201d Say<br \/>\n\u201cthank you\u201d to a teacher today.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday, November 18: Academic Gear Day \u2013 staff &#038; students are encouraged<br \/>\nto wear sweatshirts, buttons, etc. that promote a school(high school,<br \/>\nuniversity, etc.) that they, or a child of theirs, has attended.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday, November 19: Education Support Professionals Day (wear green):<br \/>\non this day, we honor the secretaries, classroom aides, custodial and<br \/>\nmaintenance people, cafeteria workers, bus drivers and others who provide<br \/>\ninvaluable services to our schools.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday, November 20: Falcon Education Pride Day (wear purple &#038; gold)<br \/>\nStudents are encouraged to write a thank you note to a teacher or support<br \/>\nstaff, either present or former. These notes can be dropped off at the<br \/>\noffice for delivery.<\/p>\n<p>Friday, November 21:  Treat Each Other Day: wear orange and consider<br \/>\nsharing a monetary donation in the office to the \u201c Go Jo\u201d cause.<\/p>\n<p>The School Board, along with our Superintendent, Mrs. Born, has proclaimed<br \/>\nthe start to American Education Week.  This week has been celebrated the<br \/>\nweek prior to Thanksgiving week since 1921 &#8220;&#8230;for the purpose of informing<br \/>\nthe public of the accomplishments and needs of the public schools and to<br \/>\nsecure the cooperation and support of the public in meeting those needs.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>There are several ways students can get involved this week:<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday &#8211; ask the staff about the academic gear they are wearing<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday &#8211; wear green to show your support for our education support<br \/>\nprofessionals<\/p>\n<p>Thursday &#8211; wear purple and gold to show your pride in Falcon education;<br \/>\nwrite a thank you letter to educators who have made a difference to<br \/>\nyou&#8211;the letters can be dropped off in the office for delivery<\/p>\n<p>Friday &#8211; wear orange for Josiah!<\/p>\n<p>*GO JO DAY*<\/p>\n<p>Dear Sheboygan Falls Staff &#038; Students,<br \/>\nAs some of you may or may not know, one of our 4K friends has recently been<br \/>\ndiagnosed with Leukemia.  This is a wonderful family, who has already been<br \/>\nthrough so much with our little friend.<br \/>\nWe would like to have a GO JO DAY on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 21st to show Jo and<br \/>\nhis family our support!  We invite the students and staff of the Sheboygan<br \/>\nFalls School District to join in our Go Jo Day by wearing orange in support<br \/>\nof him.  We are also asking for a small monetary donation if you would like<br \/>\nto wear orange on this particular day.  This is a SURPRISE!  We will be<br \/>\ncollecting the money and presenting it to his family before the holidays,<br \/>\nto make this time of year a little easier financially for them! Please<br \/>\nbring all donations to the office by 2:30 on Friday.  Let\u2019s show them that<br \/>\nthe Sheboygan Falls School District family is behind them!  GO JO!!!
