7th & 8th Grade Girls Basketball Players: Your season will hopefully begin
\nin about a month. Please use the Basketball Signup app in Classlink to let
\nus know you plan on playing. The earliest we can start will be Jan. 3.
\nMake sure you have all of the necessary paperwork (physical exam, athletic
\ncode, parent permission, and fee) turned into the office before we start.

The Middle School Band Concert : Monday, December 13th at the high school
\nat 7pm.<\/p>\n
The morning of the concert we will have a dress rehearsal at the high
\nschool. All band students should get dropped off or take the bus to the
\nhigh school. They do not need to wear concert attire for the dress
\nrehearsal. Here’s the schedule:<\/p>\n

7:30-7:50 – students arrive at HS<\/p>\n
7:50-8:20 – 6th grade A Day rehearse<\/p>\n
8:30 – 6th grade A Day return to MS<\/p>\n

9:00 – 6th grade B Day return to MS<\/p>\n
8:50-9:20 – 7th\/8th combined bands rehearse<\/p>\n
9:30 – 7th grade return to MS<\/p>\n
9:30-9:50 – 8th grade & HS Bands rehearse<\/p>\n
10:00 – 8th grade return to MS<\/p>\n
7th & 8th grade will be having a combined rehearsal on Thursday, December
\n9th during the 3rd hour – 7th Band class. 8th Band students should meet in
\nthe band room immediately following 2nd hour class and will return to 3rd
\nhour class at approximately 10:15am.<\/p>\n
EDIBLE ENGINEERING & THE GREAT GINGERBREAD VILLAGE FESTIVAL!<\/p>\n
Congratulations to all of our SFMS students who participated in this years’
\nEdible Engineering Contest! The following entries will be submitted to the
\nGreat Gingerbread Village Festival competition, which is held annually at
\nthe Waelderhaus in Kohler! This years’ winners include:<\/p>\n
(3rd -5th-grade category) Fun in the Snow!<\/p>\n
(6th -8th-grade category) Christmas at the Barn!, Snowmen at Christmas!,
\nWhoville!, and Winter Wonderland!
\n25th ANNUAL GINGERBREAD FESTIVAL Join us in our 25th year of the
\nGingerbread Festival. Beginning November 26 and continuing through
\nDecember 30th, Waelderhaus, the historic \u201chouse in the woods\u201d in Kohler
\nwill treat families to holiday music and dozens of sugary creations on
\ndisplay at the Annual Gingerbread Festival.Attendees will enjoy extended
\nhours, musical performances and the opportunity to vote for their favorite
\nhand-crafted gingerbread houses, sculptures and original handiworks created
\nby local schools and community groups.Classroom and community organizations
\nwhose sweet designs garner the most votes from attendees, will receive cash
\nprizes in different age groups. Complimentary gingerbread cookies will be
\nserved to protect the candy-studded homes and fabrications from hungry
\nvisitors.<\/p>\n
GINGERBREAD FESTIVAL DETAILS<\/p>\n
November 26 through December 30, 2021 Sunday through Friday \u2013 1:00 p.m. to
\n5:00 p.m. Saturday \u2013 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Advance reservations are
\nneeded to view and vote for the gingerbread structures. Please sign up to
\nvisit by using this SignUp Genius form. Daily tours of the Waelderhaus will
\nstill be offered at 2 PM, 3 PM, and 4 PM (closed Christmas Eve and
\nChristmas Day). Advance reservations are required for daily tours and can
